ISP=Inconsistent service provider:D Brings back bad memories of the days when I had to use dial up.

2600 baud Wildcard.....click on the website in the morning and it's all loaded by dinner <hehe>

i've been trying to find someone who has the Sprint Wireless anywhere so i can see it in action for myself.

it's hysterical to drive down any street and just about every wireless home network you come across has the default logon and password <lol>

i get harped on from time to time here because WEP causes a lag from time to time when the young'ns r playing "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2". it's common to hear "friggin noob tube!" in my house.

I use a verizon MIFI and love it. Was previously with Hughesnet satelite but the verizon card blows the doors off of hughesnet for speed and if i have a problem i actually get to speak to a english speaking american. With Hughesnet you got routed to India for technical support.

i switched from wildblue (basically same deal as hughesnet) to vzn mifi--love it! just hate the 5 GB limit... gonna hafta get a second one.

Been thru em all. Wildblue to hughesnet and now with Verizon Mifi. Love it, love it , love it. Its 10 times faster than hughesnet and with a Wilson repeater (yes, some people say they live out in the sticks but i really do) I never get dropped. Oh yeah, im averaging 9 gig a month in useage belle. U?

i've been fairly good at keeping it down by having hubs d/l stuff at work, lmao. but with running a couple sites of my own, it's killin me. i'd rather just get a couple extra mifi boxies. 7-8 GB here when we're careful.

oh, and i live in the sticks too. *sigh* appalachia on the border between VA & WV... don't get much stick-ier than that.

110 Baud Anderson Jacobson Acoustically Coupled modem for me. I still have it.

Oh - I guess there was the 50 baud TI Silent 700 acoustic too! Forgot about that.

I ran a BBS called "White Night" in the Bay Area on 110 baud modems (16 lines) and later started adding 1200's on up. Shut it down when all the lines were Telebit Trailblazer 4800/9600 Turbos. ;)
