Hey all,

I have a vicious any variant clone which uses a 2s 1200mAh Lipo.

I came across this (see picture) which allows you to use 18650's instead of the Lipo.

Main reason I want to convert it is because we have a bunch of 18650's and only one Lipo.
Finding a replacement with the right connector is nigh on impossible and the only model/RC shop around here is owned and run by a complete tool who I wouldn't trust to do up my shoelaces, let alone start messing with my mod.

I did take it in to explain that I need a Lipo with a micro deans connector and could he solder one together (they don't come with micro deans as standard) since he's the 'RC expert' and apart from being rude, he looked at me like I just said to him in a different language, so that ideas out because I don't have the knowledge of soldering Lipo battery's myself etc.

Basically what I'm asking, is this just a standard battery sled that has the micro deans soldered onto the end of it that connects the batteries in series to the variant itself?

And if so, I could just buy these parts myself and do it?

Thanks!

Yes, that's all it is, standard 2 battery sled with the wires/connector soldered on. One wire across the top of the sled makes the series connection for the 2 batteries. You'll solder 1 wire to each of the bottom contacts, then solder the other end of those wires to your connector. Pay attention to the desired polarity.

Awesome thank you guys!

Another quick question:

The variant is a 260w mod, but with two 18650s, I wouldn't be able to take it much past 160w right?
I don't plan to but I just wanted to be sure.

It is a clone VA and for whatever reason, finding a replacement lipo with a mirco deans connector seems impossible.
I would be ...... if it was an authentic and I couldn't use it because I couldn't find the correct battery for it.
