Thanks for the update on the FDV floating 510 connector. I ordered two of them today and they have already been shipped.

Nice. Yep I got everything for my mod now. Funny thing is I had ran into a hicup I thought would be the last thing I would worry about. lmao. I went to 6 or more different place is phoenix AZ looking for 20 AWG stranded wire. Home depot, hobby store, radio shack, auto zone, oriley's, and fry's electronics. So annoying. After a few day's of wasted time and energy thinking I could save time getting wire locally.Which btw places has 20 awg solid. They had every other gauge of wire stranded but 20AWG. I coulda gone with something bigger but I am not in such a rush to not do it right and everybody I talked to recommended 20 AWG stranded. Infact best recommended was the silicone type 20 AWG stranded that is used in RC car's because it is made to hold up to heat and vibration, etc. So I ended up finally getting it off of ebay earlier today. I should have just ordered it from online in the first place but I had no idea it would be a problem. I have spent more money then I would have thought because it's my first build and something I didn't have toolwise and material wise. But I already thinking about a second one after this lol. At least second one will be alot cheaper. Anyways. Once I get my wire, I will get it done hopefully that day. I will have everything but wiring done by time it get's here.

As far as 20 gauge wire is concern, from my experience with Audio Amplifier and speaker built, I found web site to be consistent and reliable:

http://www.partsconnexion.com/wire_hookup_dhlabs.html

From a colleague who used to sell custom made connection wires for high end audiophile systems, he strongly recommends DH labs. Parts Connexion is based out of canada (they also carry their own hookup wire in teflon insulated, silver plated, stranded 20 gauge wire per mil spec), shipping takes about 7 calendar days, if they have the items in stock.

My Sx350 came all ready wired up for the most part and there are 3 extra piece of wire included I think there is enough wire in the package I got to do the whole mod :)

I am building the cradle for the SX350 out of Plexiglass I got from my local Lowes. I am using the .080 thick for the screen to lay against(will serve as a screen protector) and the .220 thick on top of that for the chip to set in. I am just going to cut a hole in this thicker piece the same size as the board of the SX350. This .220 is the exact thickness of the board and the screen, so the board will be fully supported on all four sides. On the end away from the screen I am going to cut two small pieces of the .080 to make supports to hold the board level. I will glue the two pieces of Plexiglass together with a few drops of superglue on the outer edges. I am placing the chip on the side of a Hammond 1590B box and with two 18650 battery holders in place, they will hold the chip/board in the cradle I am making. If I need to remove the chip/board I can just remove the battery holder that is next to it and holding it in the cradle.
