Great price, but it does look like a China site so in the US, wait a month or longer for delivery or pay through the nose for shipping cost that will still take a couple of weeks to get.

I'm waiting on my Vamo to come and I've heard it's a fingerprint magnet. I'm getting the gun metal finish. I'm trying to find something that will prevent the fingerprints. I thought about clear nail polish, but don't know if it's a good idea. Does anyone have a solution?

jwraps has clear covers also for the Vamo. Check them out..they are great. Vinyl material used on cars, not only will the clear wrap protect from fingerprints and even scratches but will also give you a little more hold on the unit. Love my Vamo with the jwrap.

Anything shiny will be a fingerprint magnet. You could put some sort of matte spray finish on the gun metal but it would not look the same.

Several people have reported the gun metal finish as being extremely fragile. You would likely be ahead of the game to buy or make a clear wrap to at least protect the finish.

You might want to read the thread about Vapor Break. Some don't make it.

I should probably go ahead and say this. Although I know almost no one likes them, I have a Vamo v3 on the way. I know I would like the "ribbed" feel and would want to keep that. That's why I don't want to do a wrap. I'm just trying to find out something I can put on it to fix the finger print thing. That's why I came up with clear nail polish at first.

I may have to just end up living with it unless someone has other ideas.

I've still been looking around about the fingerprint thing for the Vamo gun metal color. I talked to some people off the forum and many of the recommended this.

They said just put a small about on and polish it and that you should not have a fingerprint issue. Please don't take my word for it and do your own research, but I think this will be the way I'm going.
