New Stainless steel vamo/ego apv

My stainless steel VAMO weighs 4 3/8 oz./125 gr. and my chrome version weighs 4 5/8 oz./131 gr.—very little difference.

I just got mine in and I love it but, I ordered stainless, it had stainless on the box, but it looks like chrome and is slippery. Any thought?
If I put it next to the Provari stainless it's definitely not the same.

Does anybody know if the SS finish will oxidise over time?

Anything that oxidizes oxidizes over time. The oxidation rate of stainless steel is very slow (hence the moniker "stainless"). Just clean it every once in a while and keep it dry as much as you can and it will be fine.
