Hi everyone. So by the grace of God, my precious Vamo is still working! I have dropped it several times and it continues to perform like it should. I have noticed however, that the center section has a bigger gap from the "controls" section than it used to. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix this? Thanks.

If you mean the section just below the fire button, and above the battery extension section, that seems to be a press fitting. If it works and is not overly objectionable, I would leave it alone. If you are determined to fix it, the best suggestion I could give you is to turn the unit off, remove the battery and lower battery extension. Replace the battery cap and cover it with a towel. Gently tap the battery cap with a hammer, preferably with a plastic head. I would not tap too hard, but only with enough force to press the two sections back together.

It's also possible that you can press it back in by hand. Just remove the lower tube, put the battery cap on, grab the top section (from the back, not by the buttons) grab the tube section with a thumb or finger on the bottom of the battery cap, and press while gently twisting/rocking both sections.

If this doesn't work on yours, you could resort to the hammer.

Thanks. I managed to get them a little closer together I think. In the process, that section came totally off, scared me, I thought I broke it but it went back on.
