Got it today and WOW
did not think it would be that much better than my 1000 twist but it is..

Cooking juice with my Vivi Nova V2 2.8 ohm on 4.5 volts...and clouds of vape are drifting around my bedroom..

question 1 is WHY does it work so much better?
question 2 is what rms / mean setting should i be on?

It has better power regulation. It will maintain the power you have it set at until the battery is run down to 3.2 volts. So if you set say 4.5 volts, or 8 watts, it will keep putting out what you set. Smaller vv pvs will taper off after a while. With a bigger battery it means the Vamo will also do output for longer than a smaller pv.

RMS is root mean square - so what you set is the output you get. Set 7 watts, you get 7 watts. Set 4 volts, you get 4 volts. AVG is an average measurement, and the output hits higher than what you have set. Still works, but you might set 4.5 volts in AVG mode and really be getting 5 volts, for example. Generally everyone uses RMS.

I am so sad....
I dropped my VAMO and cracked a vivi nova......
Now the 'plus' button is stuck inwards and became feather touch... I just have to touch it and it activates.
So now I have to turn it off before putting it in my pocket.
Tried unsucessfully to dismantle it and in the process scratched it.

So, please be careful and hold on to it.

I'm in love with mine! I actually dropped it from about 5 ft yesterday onto hardwood floors. It dented my floor but not a scratch on it and it still works like a champ!

I was a little leery taking it out at first but I had it at the bar the other night and a very cute girl saw it, left the guy she was there with, came over and started asking me all about it. It goes with me everywhere now ;-)

Its tough taking the head off for the 1st time but ive done it so many times now i can almost do it with my hands and no pliers. I guess u could say im clumsy because i drop mine at least once a day and same thing happens, one of my buttons sink in or the screen protector pops out or tilts or something so i have to remove the head and reposition everything. It sucks to have to tear it apart and rebuild it so often but then again im glad its sturdy enough to handle my abuse especially for the price i paid for it!!
