Hello. I'm a new member. I bought an EGO-aio and I have been able to quit smoking. I haven't had the urge since I took my first puff of PG nicotine. I decided I should buy a back-up and a better one and so I read up on all your posts about how not to buy a clone. I went on Craigslist and paid too much $50 for a used Kangside Mini 25W. I thought it was Kangtech! I got it home and charged it. It seems to be working right but when I put the liquid in, it leaked all out the bottom and through the airholes. What a mess. So I cleaned it up and am wondering what to do. I believe it is a standard 510 thread so I could probably buy another atomizer. I looked online and saw that it was Chinese and everything seemed to be wholesale. I don't know if it is missing a part. It came with a useless manual that didn't say a thing about filling the atomizer. I thought maybe it needed a mouthpiece as this one is steel. I did try to vape a bit and there was a bit of vape but I was too scared of wrecking it so I didn't take a big hit. It seemed that the juice was sucked into my mouth. I guess I got ripped off but maybe not completely. I also got a bunch of different juices including a big bottle of cuttwood unicorn milk which I haven't tried yet. If anyone has any experience with the Kangside Mini 25w, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

I love my KSD mini 25s. And yes you did get robbed @ $50 for a used one! Unless the seller was taking into account the fact that they are nearly impossible to find. Took me 6 months to track down three of them. 2 new 1 used ($20).
Mine are the replaceable battery version. I'm guessing yours have the built in battery? I'm planning to get one of those also. If you have the tank that originally came with the kit, should be the "Vamo One". Does it look like this tank?
I'm very sorry to hear that your having trouble with your tank. May be just a missing o-ring on the tank or hopefully just a snockered coil. Is the coil screwed in tight?
All together I have 5 KSD mods and every one performs great. Hope we can figure out your tank problem.

Oh, It just dawned on me. You say you received no instruction with the mini and your only other experience seems to be the AIO. Might you be trying to fill your tank from the top similar to the way that you would fill your AIO? That would definitely result in a huge mess. The Vamo One (if that's what you have?) is a bottom fill tank.
Thank you for responding. Yes, that is exactly the tank. And it does have a small red rubber ring. It leaks so bad that I didn't get the chance to even fill the tank to the start of the window because it started seeping out. I checked it and tightened it but that did not stop it so I took it apart and cleaned it and looked at it more, got more familiar with the airhole part that is brass. Is that the coil? After a couple of hours I deluded myself that it could actually be that leaky and filled it again, having found that in the stuff I bought for $50 was a suction thing so I could empty tank and put juice back. So I proceeded to try again, making sure it was good and tight and the air hole was at the half mark. I didn't get two squirts from the ejuice when it started coming out of the air hole and under the airhole, the screw. I called all the shops I could find and no one carries this. Thank you for naming the tank the Vamo One. The tank screws on flawlessly, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the thread. Perhaps that red ring needs replacing.

Because you named it, I was able to watch a drunk guy on youtube take the thing apart. I was wondering a bit about the coil as I could not see that it unscrewed out. The video helped with that. Probably that coil is toast. Could a bad seal on the coil cause leakage, especially since the machine was not turned on when it leaked, the juice was not heated? I see I can order coils but I was hoping to find some in Vancouver. Also I don't want to buy replacement coils if the atomizer is no good.

OMG Foggy. Thank you for figuring this out. I didn't watch the drunk guy filling the tank and now I see! Properly filled it works and it is lovely. It is now my #1 over the EGO as the taste is way better. I'm going to order some coils! Thank you so much for helping me. It turns out to be a pretty good deal considering all of the 10 bottles of ejuice that came with it and the little syringe bottle. I see why you like it. Thanks Foggy for the applause. I have been using my Kangside with the Vamo One tank since the day I learned from you how to fill it. From the first day I took a vape hit, I never took another cigarette. That day was Dec. 10, 2016. Thank you for the applause. My lungs are much, much happier.
