I know it's a personal choice more or less, but since I'm looking at getting to mods, I've really staring down my options for both of these.

I'm currently running Ego-C Twists with Mini Vivi Nova tanks. While I'll eventually head down the route of trying carts and pyrex tanks, I'd prefer to wait on that just a bit.

I am a tech guy, so the geek side of me is pulled towards the eVic pretty heavily, but all the great reviews on the Vamo keep drawing me back towards it. It does make it harder having seen all the good things coming out with the eVic firmware changes.

I was in the same boat week or so ago and ended with the evic cause of the techy end of the device and feel i made the right choice. And now they updated the firmware a couple days ago which made it even better. Im still considering the vamo as a back up just waiting on local shop to get them in.

I am having the same problem deciding. From what I have seen on youtube though is that the Evic is not of heavy construction and the Vamo is. But the Evic can be updated and the Vamo can't but it seems like the Vamo is more heavy duty.

How solid is the Evic anyway? Does it feel sturdy or like aluminum?

It feels sturdy to me and the reviews i seen about the dial being loose mine seems pretty solid and for the usb cover mine pops right back in place after i charge it. One form factor that made me go with the evic was i could charge and vape at the same time as well as charge on the go using the usb 2.0 which these days everyone has a couple laying around. The vamo i would have to pack a spare battery or the bulky charger with me if i know im gonna be away from home for extended time.

    No you can't

Being you have a Ego-C Twists that can be a backup device. E-vic $90 - $105.00 Joyetech eVic Variable Voltage Intelligent eCigarette | Aqua Vapor eCig North Carolina $104.00 -10%discount = $94.00 with STV Nova with 3 Heads Plus more, nice starter kit for the price. On the other hand Vamo you can get under $50.00 then you need the battery charger & batteries another $25-$30.00. I have the vamo since Oct love it dose everything I need. They may be a time you want a puff counter plus who knows what updates are coming on e-vic firmware already had the first update on firmware. E-vic is a pass trough device.

When you finish looking how much the vamo with charger, batteries going to cost. I think price wize E-vic better deal for above price.

Just went to check price on e-vic without nova tank $84.82 and free shipping. Maybe I'll get one too! That's the lowest price I seen yet.
