vamo reads 9.9 ohms for my kanger pro tank

I just got my my VAMO set up. Put a freshly charged(off nitecore charger) Efest IMR 18350 in, battery volts read 4.2 the resistance of my pro tank reads 2.8, thinking all is well I set my vv at 4v. After a few vapes I get nothing. All settings stayed the same except when I check the resistance of my pro tank it reads 9.9ohms. What am I doing wrong?

it sounds like it not making a connection

is screwed down tight enough?

if not try pulling the center post out a bit,

if that doesnt work make sure the coil is screwed in enough

I have found that the protank has a shallow post and needs to be pretty snug to make contact

Make sure the gnurled ring on bottom of your KPT is spun tight. Screw KPT onto your 510 snugly, NOT super tight.

How does that work?

I pulled the post on KPT and it worked thank you soooo much. vaping away!

Is it also possible to put pull the post out and add another little gasket so I don't have to keep pulling it out?

nope,its just a flaw of the 510 connection. it shouldn't happen that often.
