I ordered two vamos. With the first the threads were machined so poorly that nothing would screw on. I got a replacement and the second still isnt quite right, but with enough force I can get my cartos screwed in all the way.

I just received platnium cartos from ikenvape and they wont catch the threads at all. I assume I should get an adapater hopefully that catches and I can use those threads.

For a tank carto set up should I use:

1. 510-510 short NON SEALED ElectronicStix.Com · Shorty 510 To 510

or

2. 510-510 shorty SEALED ElectronicStix.Com · Sealed Shorty 510 To 510

Thanks

For you, doesn't really matter. The non-sealed type has a hole that goes thru to the origin 510 while the sealed one does not. If a sealed one leaks, it leaks out the top, if the non-sealed one leaks, it leaks thru to the origin 510. Clear as mud? ;-)

Unsealed ones are necessary for auto mods and bottom feeders.

Ok great thank you. Is there any reason to get a sealed then? Will it change the draw if I didnt have an adapter? Also is one or the other more likely to push the center pin in and break the vamo?

Thanks!
