Vamo v3 getting really warm

Hello I have recently just got a vamo version 3 with 2 efest 18650 2000mah batteries and the trustfire multifunctional charger. For some reason when I put in the battery its starts getting warm and warmer but works just fine. Its alarming so I take it right back out. Also there seems to be a burnt smell in the battery contacts so that cant be very good. Tried both batteries, and they are fully charged.

Anyone have the same issue? Any tips or ideas to what's going on? I haven't any knowledge on electronics so super noob here. Thanks!

You possibly have a short!

Do NOT use it unless you can identify the short..otherwise those Li Ion batteries could hit thermal runaway and literally burn!

If a battery is getting warm..it is a surefire way to tell there is a short!

I did a little bit of reading and tested that out. Can confirm that the batteries are not getting warm, only the upper half of the device where all the electronics are. Also does not matter if the tank is screwed on, or if the device is powered on. I contacted the vendor (myvaporstore.com) this morning and haven't gotten a reply yet.
