So I got my first mod. A Vamo V5, I love the thing to death. But the batteries it came with wont charge. I tried everything. So now im just going order some new ones. I read some threads, about the batteries for the Vamo's. But I didn't get a straight answer I was looking for. And before I dish out 30 bucks on new batteries and a charger. I want to make sure that these batteries would work for my vamo v5. I want to get the 18650 Ultrafire Batteries. BRC 18650 3800mah 3.7 li-ion. If these wont work got any suggestions on some that come with a charger as well.

Those batteries are not what you want.

Try to stick with high drain, imr chemistry batteries or hybrid chemistry.

Some good choices are;
Aw 18650
Panasonic ncr18650pd or pf.
Efest 18650

I use Panasonic ncr18650pf batteries in my Vamo, SID and eVic with great results.

Those ultrafire batteries are ICR chemistry batteries. Not the safest choice.

Get a good quality charger also. Nitecore, xtar, pila or efest luc are way better than anything with "fire" in the name. Same goes for batteries.

Which batteries did you order? :confused:

Any of the batteries recommended by anumber1 are excellent choices for a Vamo. :thumb:

I order the Panasonic ncr18650pf batteries. They looked promising. Plus 100% money back guarantee off ebay. I live in Montana, so there really no store I can run to for vape stuff, everything comes offline now. I'm so glad the vape store I went to in San Diego California sells there juice online.

Just ordered a couple of Panasonic NCR18650B 3.7V 3400mAh with my Vamo V5 - seem to be pretty decent, from the Amazon reviews I read, some from vapers.

That battery will "work" in a regulated mod, but being that it is not a high-drain battery it may limit your Vamo's optimal performance. Not to mention that these are very expensive batteries. There are better & cheaper batteries to choose from if you want the best performance available.
