I am a bit afraid of getting the Samsung 25R, because the end of the 25R life may give a mediocre vape. I really don't know if I will buy the VTC4 or the 25R ):

Another thing: can i use two efest purple 350 in my vamo?
They will fit physically in the vamo stacked.

Unless you are using high resistance cartos at high wattage settings, you wont need to do so.

Since this is a Vamo help thread and I need some help (guidance)... I am planning to pair the Vamo with a Kanger Aerotank Mega. I will be using the 1.5 ohm dual coils to start and then dabble in building (rebuilding) my own with cotton. I read a how to on reddit where the guy used 32ga Kanthal wire to get 2.1 ohms. With this combo, what resistance should I be shooting for?

All regulated mods like the Vamo will have an amp limit which will prevent them from firing an atty less than 1.0 ohm. I'd shoot for a resistance between 1.2 - 2.0 ohm.

I use a single microcoil at 1.3 ohms for my Provari in my KFL+. I use a voltage range between 3.0 - 3.5 volts.

Thanks mate. I believe I will stick with the Samsung 25R (INR). Charger, the Nitecore i2 is fine? Some folks said in some place that the nitecote is junk and that the xtar is better. They said its because the Charging Voltage but I don't understand this things... The xtar is a bit out of my budget.

Also, if I get 1 Efest purple IMR18350 700 mAh, should I get the one with flat top or button top?

Why would you expect a falloff with the Samsung? The Vamo will regulate the voltage steadily to stay where you set it until the battery requires recharging.

You could stack two 18350 batteries in the Vamo, but I don't recommend it. You will gain very little by doing so. Stacking does not increase battery capacity (how long the battery lasts on a charge), it only doubles the voltage from 3.7 volts to 7.4 volts. This does not really aid a regulated mod that much as it creates its own higher voltage via boost circuitry. You'll still only get the same battery time of a single 18350 battery (6 - 7 hours), where a single Samsung or Sony 18650 battery will give you 20 - 24 hours battery time.

The Vamo accepts either one.

You can use 1 18350 in the vamo with 1 extension tube; that gives you short mode.

vamo in short mode.
I got a protank on top but you don't see the tank because I moved the extension tube to the top.

You can stack 2 18350's but then you need to follow stacking protocol making sure to buy matching batteries and rotate them to keep them exactly the same.

Either button top or flat will work in the vamo.

Sage advice from baditude also. The risk of stacking batteries in the vamo does not outweigh the benefit.

The nitecore i2 is a good charger. They work fine. The xtar vp1 has more "features" but for the money, a nitecore i2 is hard to beat. Its way better than the trustfire cheapie for just a few dollars more.

Ah, you are right. I though that I would feel the difference of the batty droping off in the vamo.

Why you moved your extension tube to the top?

Good to know, mate. I will stick with the nitecore i2.

Question about the nitecore i2. Can I regulate the way the batterys will be charged? Like, faster or lower? I want to charge them in the better what. I don't care to wait 6 hours to charge a 18650 batty. I want to keep the battys healty and avoid problems.

Also, thank you all for the help. I guess i will get an purple efest 18350, just to try it.

.....

Why you moved your extension tube to the top?

......

1: Because I can!!! It fits!!
2: To protect the glass tank; bought 4 protanks 9 months ago; 2 broke so far and 2 left.

had to drill holes in the extension tube though because of condensation.

The nitrcore (or any intelligent charger) will switch to a low, trickle charge or stop charging completely once it has brought the cell to 4.2 volts. Some chargers use sophisticated algorithms during the charge cycle to minimize the stress on the battery.

Amperage is the measurement of current. The specification of max charge current is the maximum rate the bsttery can be charged at. You can always charge with lower current. Charging at a lower rate is less stressful to the battery that hitting it with max current. It just takes longer.

Better chargers hit the battery with varying rates of current (the algorithms I have mentioned) during the charge cycle. The charger may start out at a low rate then switch to a higher rate, finishing at a lower rate.
