I must have gotton the mine from the first"batch" of these. No matter what atomizer I put on it it says "open circuit" and does do anyything, I got the 20W version from ebay. I have since found they are much less expensive on ffocaltech so I ordered a 25wattt for $30 with a discount code. I'm wondering if there is anyway to contact the OE and buy the top conector to get the other back in service as the ebay selller didn't ask for the old one back ? Its a SX200 chip so I can't imagine anything being wrong with the board.
