Sorry to hear that. I gave mine quite a stretch.
Some people are using the Panasonics with the Vamo.

I received my Vamo from Health Cabin yesterday. I immediately popped in a fully charged button top AW IMR 2000mah 18650. It worked for all of about 15 minutes before I started getting a low voltage error when pressing the fire button. I put the battery in my Zmax and it works great - reads 4.1 volts (exactly like I would expect a fully charged battery to do.
I think the issue with the Vamo may be in not enough spring tension to provide good contact, resulting in enough resistance in the battery connections to make the Vamo's circuits think the battery is low.
Is this a known issue? Any thoughts or suggestions? Is my guess on the issue even a remote possibility? Or did I just get a bad circuit board and need to send the Vamo back?
I just got a new Vamo from Smok tek. I get Lo v showing as well. Tryed to extend the sping but it does not help. Tried three different fully charged batteries, multiple carts. Mine won't even fire. It comes on, then shows Lo v as soon as I try to fire. I am guessing this is a real problem as nothing I am doing is fixing this probem. First mod I have ever purchased that was DOA. Did anyone ever figure this out or send it back?
Your problem is between the two batteries, flat tops don't often stack well..I had an issue trying to stack 2 flat top batterries. 2 button tops work fine but not 2 flat tops....
For the OP, I've always had a good connection but my AW 18650 did move inside the casing a bit. I could feel it sort of flop over. I have the long spring that comes with the version 2. Today I stretched it up more and now the rattle is gone. So maybe pull the spring up more?
The only time I get a Lo error is when I have a short or I'm trying to use a device at 1.2 ohms or lower.
Even though it wont fire can you check the battery voltage with the vamo? Resistance?
