Vamo Whamo!

I tried posting in the VAMO forum since I've already hit five messages. It says the forum is closed and to post in the "appropriate model specific forum." Is that the "supplier" section they're referring to? I would appreciate it if someone could tell me where to go. I want to know if there's any way to get my V3 repaired (although it has another annoying issue that might not be repairable - pressing the button five times (more often than not) does nothing. I have to do it several times to turn it on or off. Not very handy!

edit: I just saw the separate "Model Specific" forums but there's no VAMO thread. I'll try starting one and if that doesn't work off to the supplier section, I guess.

Try this. I have it bookmarked separately for easy access: VAMO

sorry alicia, but unfortunately i doubt you're going to be able to find someone to repair your vamo. they're pretty cheap (about $30 when you order from fasttech), so pretty much any repairs would be more expensive than the unit itself. also, there are something like 5 completely different manufacturers who make the vamo, and i haven't heard of any way for a consumer to determine which factory their vamo came from.

also, the extra clicks is a pretty common issue with vamos. i had a v2 that i lost and replaced it with a v3, and both had that issue. yes, it's a little annoying, but i've just gotten used to clicking it say 7 times instead of 5. i still personally think it's a great mod (especially for the price), but in the end, it is a bargain mod, so there are bound to be some minor issues.
