I just purchased a Vandy Pulse X mod, but I can't find any information on TC adjustments. I can turn TC on/off, but I have no idea what the 4 digit setting is for? There's nothing in the instructions that references this feature.

Here is a pic of the setting option... It scales from OOO1 to [I assume] 9999.

This is a great mod, but the 8ml bottle is a bit small, and the rda is made from stainless steel; which of course holds heat. I'd prefer aluminum, but that may result in poor flavor, I don't know? Extending the stem by 1/4" would keep lips away from the top of the rda. The fact that the mod is made of plastic means that the heat has nowhere to go. Setting the TC to 31O helps with the heat. My wattage is set to 4O @ .28 resistance. I don't know why the Pulse X RDA gets average marks for flavor? Mine gets exceptional flavor.

They are TCR values or Temperature Coefficient of Resistance values. With certain metals, as you apply heat their resistance increases in a predictable way. With the correct TCR value, the device will calculate and predict the heat of the coil. This is useful should you want to vape at or below a prescribed temperature. This is referred to as Temperature Control or TC

To use Temperature Control you need to use a qualified metal for your coils. Stainless Steel, Titanium and Nickel. Kanthal and Ni80 cannot be used.

Using wattage mode these values have no use.
