    Hello again and welcome for today's review of a true fully featured device that should make almost every vaper happy. The Requiem mod is a single battery device giving the user a choice of using either a 21700 or 18650 battery with power options of WATTS, BYPASS, VOLTS or TC using SS, NI or TI. Wattage output has a range of 5-95 watts
    and voltage range of 0.5-6.0, although I don't vape at the max wattage of 95 watts some people do and being a single battery device you wont get a lot of vape time using it at the upper ranges. I will say I'm very glad the Vandy chipset is used in this device because of the customization you can do with it, I'll go into that later on in the review.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

    Packaging is very simple with the device and charge cord sitting in a removable tray with the user manual and quality certificate under them. Looking through the user manual I found no explanation of the features or what features are included on this device ( VERY BAD USER MANUAL ). There are going to be very many pictures with this review because nothing is explained in the manual.

    Picking the device up I noticed how light it was which I expected being a polycarbonate and aluminum mod. What I didn't expect was a twist off bottom battery cap that I found to be a bit crunchy when screwing or unscrewing it, always remember to back thread first using this type of battery door (cap) to avoid cross threading.

    The clear 18650 battery adaptor ships installed in the mod. I think it's a good looking device with the contrasting look of the sandblasted battery tube against the Red polycarbonate body.

    I used a 21700 battery testing out and reviewing this device but tried the 18650 battery with it's supplied adapter and it worked fine with no rattle using either battery ( VERY SOLID ). The battery cap needs to be screwed down fully to avoid the bottom from rocking, I already mentioned this cap isn't the greatest and I think it's because it's made of aluminum to keep the weight down. There is no polarity symbol on the battery cap but there is a Red plus symbol inside the battery tube.

    Turning attention up top the top plate has a star design embossed on it, a 28mm atomizer fits without and overhang, because of it's size and shape thin or thick atomizers look fine but I cation using a tall atomizer for fear of a tip over being as light as the mod is. The 510 pin is very stiff with not a huge amount of play to it, I tried 5 different atomizers of different sizes with no issues.

    I really thought that by having a curved fire button that firing the device would feel awkward but that's not the case at all in fact it's just the opposite using either finger or thumb to fire the device. The bottom adjustment buttons stand out pretty proud of the device and the front plate has a brushed metal appearance that I really think makes the device shine with a upscaled look along with the sandblasted battery tube sporting the REQUIEM name fully outlined at the bottom.

    The display screen is of a nice size displaying the information in a grid style that covers everything including not only a battery bar but also percentage of the battery and has a padlock symbol when the device is locked totally or just the adjustment buttons ( your choice ) I'll cover in just a bit.

    SCREEN LEGEND

    * Battery Bar

    * Battery Percentage

    * Lock Icon If Locked

    * Power Mode

    * Ohms

    * Volts

    * Puffs

    * Time Of Last Puff

    To enter the menu system press both adjustment buttons simultaneously, then scroll down to the feature that you would like to make a adjustment to. There are a lot of pictures that I took of the different icons in the menu system and what the icon controls, to do a simple wattage adjustment 3 quick presses of the fire button is all that's needed, once flashing arrows appear make your adjustment. There was no mention of these features in the user manual. When you turn off a feature it won't be displayed on the screen.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

    I'm sorry for the large amount of photos but I wanted all of you to see the options you have. Another nice feature of the Vandy chip is coil wattage recognition that sets the wattage at a safe level for you because we sometimes forget to change the wattage with a new coil and could end up burning it up.

    Having 7 background choices is another bonus and the display screen is very bright and vivid. The Vandy also lets you choose how the lock option works, you can lock the entire device with the Fir icon disabled or with it enabled just lock the adjustment buttons but still be able to vape.

    Locking and unlocking is done by pressing and holding the fire button and plus buttons simultaneously. To flip the screen upside down press and hold the fire and minus buttons simultaneously, I can't see a reason for using this feature but it's there none the less.

    I have been using it in a MTL application and am impressed with battery management as well. I won't do a PROS and CONS list because the only con I have for this is the NONDESCRIPT user manual. All the pros have been mentioned already. I think this is a great device and recommend 100%. I would like to thank Sourcemore and Kavis for providing the RequiemMod for the purpose of this review and I would like to thank all of you that read my reviews, sorry this was so long.

    THANK YOU
