ok, been doing the DIY thing, made some mistakes, of course, learned, and now going to ask for help with vanillas. I really liked the carts from blu I started with, vivid vanilla, been chasing my tail trying to figure that one out, but the vanilla cupcake and holy vanilla are really good together. the nilly bean and vanilla swirl go together real nice. like I said, so far, a couple work really nicely together, but I could use the advice from you guys on what combos work the best. here's my stock to mix from:

Vanillas:
LA Bavarian cream
FA Custard
FS Holy Vanilla
FW Madagascar Vanilla
FA Vanilla Tahiti
TFA Vanilla Cupcake
FS Nilly Bean Ice cream
TFA Vanilla Bourbon
TFA Vanilla Swirl

Stock that might go with it:
TFA Whipped Cream
FS Sugar Cream
TFA Tiramisu
TFA Cola
TFA Belgian Waffle
TFA Cherry
TFA Coffee
TFA Cappuccino
Also, milk chocolate, double chocolate, RY4's, caramel, smooth and every tobacco from wizard labs on hand also.
Using those flavor bases, any one want to chime in with suggestions? please and thank you.

I love Cappelas vanilla custard/vanilla cupcake/caramel/grhamcracker. I know you don't use Cappelas, but its vanillas have great reviews.

I'll look into them, nothing against them, they just seemed a little higher priced than the rest, got tired of high dollar pre-mixes, so I tried to go the cheap diy concentrates route. At this point, my arsenal isn't cheap anyways, so hey, why not. lol. thanks.

The great thing about the ulta concentrates is less crap to kill you. Cappelas took all the "known" bad stuff out over a year ago on all their flavors, but the unknown is still a factor.

I just liked the fact that for a buck fifty, I can roll the dice. with the bigger bottles up to 5 or 6 bucks, if it's lame, you own it for ever...the stuff that kills you isn't really on my radar, I kicked analogs after 32 years smoking like a freight train, pretty sure there isn't anything in any of the flavoring I haven't already smoked, one way or the other. so far the vape thing is working like a charm, haven't even wanted an analog since I started vaping, 36 mg nicotine all the way...lol.

Have you tried Flavourart Vanilla Tahity?

sure have, my mistake, I mistakenly typed FW - flavor west, when in fact it was FA - flavourart vanilla tahity. it's got a great aroma, it gives a nice rounded vanilla when used with vanilla bourbon. not really good to me on it's own. just my tastes. thanks.

Some people like it with cream. I don't like vanilla by itself. I use it to blend with other flavors. I have some on order I plan on mixing with some caramel and flavorart tobacco.

I thought I would send you this link with some recipes. The Vape Book

Thank you. I appreciate it. Lots of recipes, few are vanilla only kinda mixes, or mainly vanilla. I am surprised how few vanilla recipes are out there as the main component and flavor. lots of recipes use them, but few are purely vanilla, or vanilla mains. Been scouring here at the recipes, and on facebook diy group, and on the link you gave me. Spend an hour or so every other day looking, thought I would just come out and ask here for suggestions. Thank you so much for helping.

I am not really well versed on vanillas as of yet. However, I think I've a solution to your financial dilemma. High Desert Vapes offers Capella flavorings, $1.99 for 3mls. Sure, it's a small bottle, but, it's enough flavoring to test without breaking the bank, so to speak. They also carry FW, TFA, and NF organic :) Though, it's obviously wiser to get all TFA flavorings from Wizard Labs ;) That is, unless John doesn't carry what you're looking for.

As always, thank you Lev, appreciate it. John at Wiz has alot, and I also like DIY flavor shacks vanillas, her's are pretty good also. It's not really a single flavor I am after in vanilla, as much as it is a richer, well rounded flavor combination I am after. Vanilla cupcake and holy vanilla are great together, but each on it's own is just ok. so that's kinda the direction I need, what combos work well together. thank you for helping.

Here's a couple combinations for you that's pretty good ... IMO :)

Creamy Vanilla:
12.5% Vanilla (French Vanilla or Holy Vanilla or Vanilla Swirl ... or whatever vanilla you like)
12.5% Bavarian Cream

Vanilla Cupcake:
12% Vanilla Cupcake
6% Vanilla Swirl
3% Cotton Candy

NOTE: Sweeten both of these recipes "to taste" if you need to. Also, I almost ALWAYS add Cotton Candy (or EM) to a mix ... and I also use Marshmallow quite a bit in different recipes (especially with Capella's peanut butter!).

Hope this helps.

Definitely go for the Capella Vanilla Custard, it's one of the best vanilla flavorings out there.

Years ago there was an ECF member who was on a quest for the best vanilla. He tested all the commercial flavors available and even tried making his own with vanilla beans and vodka. Nothing satisfied him, until one day...

He tried Capella Vanilla Custard:
