vanillas diy - best combo ideas please?

Thanks for the link. Nice site. Did you happen to check out CJ's Watermelon DIY video on the home page? Did I hear him right? Did he say 46% flavor? Or is he saying 4 to 6%?

No I have not. I just linked the recipe links for ideas. I don't endorse any of the recipes.

Here's a couple combinations for you that's pretty good ... IMO

Creamy Vanilla:
12.5% Vanilla (French Vanilla or Holy Vanilla or Vanilla Swirl ... or whatever vanilla you like)
12.5% Bavarian Cream

Vanilla Cupcake:
12% Vanilla Cupcake
6% Vanilla Swirl
3% Cotton Candy

NOTE: Sweeten both of these recipes "to taste" if you need to. Also, I almost ALWAYS add Cotton Candy (or EM) to a mix ... and I also use Marshmallow quite a bit in different recipes (especially with Capella's peanut butter!).

Definitely go for the Capella Vanilla Custard, it's one of the best vanilla flavorings out there.

Years ago there was an ECF member who was on a quest for the best vanilla. He tested all the commercial flavors available and even tried making his own with vanilla beans and vodka. Nothing satisfied him, until one day...

to help describe blu's vivid vanilla to those who havent tried it, i think it tastes like those instant vanilla capuccinos from the gas station machines IMHO. maybe that would help in a discovery or two. i also lust after vivid vanilla, and ocasionally splurge and buy a pack for a treat (510 connection)

Have you tried TFA Vanilla Bourbon straight up? It's one of my go-to's. I do 7% but my wife finds it too strong so I add a little Smooth to hers.
