OK, I've gone as far as cutting myself some vinyl "Don't Drip And Drive" stickers for my car... almost as a reminder to myself. I usually have a fair drive, hesitate to call it a commute, but it's kind of a pain for me to use my mech and low-ohm dual coil rda when driving. Primarily because it seems like I'm filling up pretty often. Being a 5-speed manual, I've already got plenty of things going on already, all limbs moving. When I drive the '66 or '69 4-speed, there's even less capacity to drive, vape and fill up.

So I see one or two issues, maybe y'all can help:
1) Do I need to switch to a tank system when driving? If so, what tank would work out on my SS Nemy clone or black copper Stingray clone?

2) Is my build "too aggressive" for driving? Do I need to concentrate on building it differently? I think both my RDAs (SS Origen and SS Quasar) are in the .3-.4 ohm range (off the top of my head).

That's an open question for people to tell you to use what they like... I'll try to just explore your options without judgment:

-If you're rebuilding... don't you already have some tank system in stock? Even a lot of the cheap tank atomizers can be rebuilt, so you could make it more aggressive and closer to your liking. Just check it out on youtube.

-You already have 2 RDA's and you're already being dangerous enough to cut some sticker reminders... It's worth trying a less aggressive build since you're already doing it. My personal opinion is that dripping and driving has a lot in common with cellphones and driving.

-An RBA can last you the whole day and you can make pretty aggressive builds. The bonus is that if you use it only while driving, it's not much trouble to refill and maintain since it should last a few days in a row and only need maintenance about once a week or so.

-If you don't want to pay RBA prices, a Nautilus is somewhat aggressive compared with the cheap tank systems.

-Reo... it doesn't quite sound like you actually have time to shuffle your hands around, but it certainly is less trouble than dealing with a separate bottle and aiming. With a little practice there is a chance you wouldn't need to concentrate on it much and never get you eyes off the road, but you'd have to find out after spitting out the cash for one (and perhaps drilling out the bottom hole on one of your RDA's)

I don't have a long drive, but I can sympathize with the dripping and driving dilemma. Anytime I have to go out and about it seems I'm in a dripping mood. A kayfun is great. Though I found getting the wick just right to be a pain and still mess that up on occasion. But I only mess it up if I put expensive liquid in it :face palm: As far as a reo goes it is the ideal way to drip and drive. And getting use to the squonking is just like anything else. Takes a bit of thought at first then becomes muscle memory and second nature. When you first learned to drive 5spd you thought at every shift and feared every hill. Now (I assume) you react vs thinking. So cheap option kf, expensive reo. All comes down to money.
