Someone asked me to post this here. I'm not there, but this was posted on Facebook. You can find more pictures of the same location and some videos.

This is the "pavilion" they have set up next to the dumpsters.

I just got back and everyone is vaping inside. The vaping area wasn't outside like that pic, it was an enclosed area but wasn't used. It was kinda sparse and I made it around the whole expo in about 90 mins. I picked up a Coil Master v3 and a couple of bottles of Charlie Noble. The Fog Mafia was throwing out t-shirts and one literally landed on me but too small (size L). No DNA200's anywhere. I did get to see a bunch of small mods and was surprised how much smaller they were than what I imagined from pics around the 'net. Some decent deals on them too.

Triton tanks for sale in the Aspire booth ? Any hardware geared toward smokers and non-subohm vapers ? Any reason to take a couple of smoker friends there considering it would cost upward of $ 60 with tolls etc... to get there. I have no interest in new juice or t shirts or cloud competitions etc ...

Thanks for the report !

Sounds like you got back after the people writing tickets left. They tried to fine vendors that had samples on the tables and were writing people tickets for vaping inside from what I heard.

There's about 1/4 to 1/3 of the booths with hardware for sale at lower prices than online (saw a Subox starter kit for $49). The Coilmaster I picked up was $20 (cheapest online was $21 + shipping). There was a lot of stuff for beginners as well as experienced.

Were there any ladies at the event, like at car shows?
There was a stripper pole with 5-6 girls around it. A few working booths too. No, I didn't take pics because that would be creepy :p. I did take pics of the Ferrari 458 and Audi R8. The only 2 pics I took there.

I got there around 12:30p and left just before 2p. I was able to sample some juices. I heard from the last booth I sampled that there might be some guys ticketing for vaping but didn't see it.

These vape expos don't sound like much fun...
I don't have any friends that vape so I went by myself :(. Everyone working the booths were very friendly.

I was hoping to find a DNA200 mod for sale and try out some different juices. No DNA200's at all but I picked up 2 juices I would otherwise never buy and they didn't sound too appealing to me. Charlie Noble Treasure Island 2 and Pistachio RV4. TI2 is like fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA and tastes much better than it sounds (to me at least). Pistachio RV4 was a surprise and I didn't even want to try it but the lady nudged me into it . I tried some that I would've bought but ended up not really liking so that saved me a few bucks.

These vape expos don't sound like much fun...
There are three things to be gained from a vape expo...

1) New gear
2) Juice samples
3) A bit of camaraderie

If you're not interested in any of those things, then no.
I've been to one vape expo and it will be my last.

Because I'm not interested in any of those things myself.
:)

Were the men and women who organized the event aware that there was to be no vaping at the expo or did some uptight ....... put the rule into place?
As far as I can tell the organizer/promoter tried to get around the law of no vaping inside by calling it a "private club" and saying people joined the private club by paying to enter. He told the vendors vaping would be allowed, then the health dept came in and said no.
