I've seen mention of places people have vaped without issue, but no real list. Maybe we can get one going? I can start with the Chevys at Stonestown in San Francisco.

Not to flame or rag on your idea, but I don't think a list like this will be useful/possible. I say this because for most chain locations it will be up to the managers, and the opinions will change per establishment. Possibly as people become more aware of vaping, some corporations will greenlight it in all of their business, but that is a while off. I think list like this would be best placed in your local social group, so everyone knows what options are around them locally. Again not meaning to flame or anything.
I understand, you're not flaming at all (can't think of a better way to phrase that without the double entendre
) I still think it would be interesting and I'm sure if we get a list going some people will find some places near them where vaping is okay. I know it'll change from location to location with chains. It might also be nice to see all the places people have vaped in one thread for those who haven't vaped in public and for noobs. well you do make a good counter point , guess we'll see where it goes. The only place I have found that is PV approved is a bar in Hartford, ct called The Warehouse. Other then that I have vaped, um everywhere, just not out in the open. Let me tell you HOW AWESOME it was when there was 1000 people there this weekend and I didn't have to go outside into the crowd of cold smokers! LOL! Vaped away right were I was in front of the DJ booth. All night people looked at me weird... but hey, I was WARM!
Yeah, not to trash the thread..good idea in theory, but not in practicallity. What good is it to know that some pub in Colorado lets people vape when Im sitting in New York? A list would be great, say, if it were state by state.

My job brings me into restaurants, bars, diners & retail places. The retail stores are paying customers, wouldn't smoke in front of them when it was legal, won't vape in front of them now. Unprofessional to do so imho.
That said, every restaurant, bar & diner I've been in has been fine with it. Not one said no. I think it's all in how the vaper handles it initially. I do the explain it thing, then blow some vapor to the side of whoever I'm talking to and say... "Smell". They lean in, smile and say "go right ahead". Course that's when the whole "where do I get one" thing starts!

Wow, I wish I could boast that many around here. The only one I can say for sure is the Applebees in Morgantown, WV. I've stealth vaped in other places, but I try to keep it on the down-low everywhere except home anyway.

I have not tried to vape in a public place yet. This is one of the reasons because when I smoked analog cigs I would get the most horrible glares and even comments when I was smoking OUTSIDE of a restaurant. shopping center, etc.
Mercy count yourself lucky. In Hampton Roads we have the Health Dept. police giving owners a very hard time.
We have been working hard on the places in the Fredericksburg area... and it is working! We have a fair number of vapers in town and we all have done our best to educate the public and the businesses about vaping.
Mercy... of course there is Bailey's and both Hard Times! They also have smoking sections!
