Happy new year!
I'm looking to clean off my "vape stand" into something that keeps all my rebuild stuff accessible and reasonably organized but closed up.
Anyone have any good solutions they are currently using, or recommendations of any kind?

I'm thinking about getting something like these:
Amazon.com : Flambeau Tackle 2 Tray Tackle Box (Black/Green, 13.5x8.5x7.5-Inch) : Fishing Tackle Boxes : Sports & Outdoors
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CBGKVG4...TF8&colid=3EUY2VXICHJYF&coliid=I2T8W3MJWN8T2R

I figure I can put the stuff I use most often in the case, and when I go to rebuild I can just grab it out pop it open and go to town, then close it up when I'm done.
The fishing lure case I have now doesn't really keep it all contained, and its a bit of a pain to unload my tools from the trey when going to rebuild as it fits a bit too snug.

Currently things are a bit messy... LOL

(not sure why the picture is upside down, its not when I view it on my laptop)

I also have a drawer on that dresser half filled with vape crap, but I don't get into that stuff very often.

OMG, ok so I found another something that I need to buy.
My portable kit is a tool bag/tackle box insert combo that I use to cart around RBA/RDA supplies and a few assorted attys/parts/mod's...ect
If I get home I'll snap pictures of it, its highly useful, the bag is durable to withstand a beating under almost all conditions. If you scotch guard it against weather then its mostly water resistant as well. Plastic tackle boxes are naturally water resistant so win-win there.

Oh, if you are going to run the tackle box route ensure that it doesn't have any chemical additives in the plastic. One company Flambeau I think has "Rust Guard" added to their plastic trays/inserts. I wouldn't want that in my lungs personally so I avoid it if it says that (a good boil in hot water never hurt anything either).

Just a thought, hope this helps.

Good call on the chemical additives! I didn't even think of that...
Thanks for your thoughts

I've collected too much stuff to fit in anything portable...
I'm organized, though! Like this:
Entire Vape "Shelving Unit" - it's a weird bit of furniture originally designed to hold a TV and accessories like DVD player and such, I think.
1 shelf: mods and tanks and attys
1 shelf: batteries, charger, wire/wick/building
1 shelf: Juice - and a tacklebox, which (just barely) holds all my DIY liquid supplies

So I'm doing for DIY liquid what you're planning for rebuilding. My rebuilding stuff is out, on a shelf.
For "Travel" - I use multiple little vape cases. Those things made for Egos. One will have a backup mod and batteries, and one will have wick and liquid...

Nice!
My main motivation (beyond it looking like crap and my wife complaining about the mess) is my son is a bit more mobile now and getting into things, so I want to put it up...
I forgot about my DIY stuff.. Its just sitting in a shoebox size tote with the lid off... I should probably get a case for that too.. I get into it way less than the other stuff as I mass mix my ADVs 180 mls or so at a time. A standard tool box should do, I don't have a ton of stuff for that, though it would be nice to organize the flavor vials a bit more...

Peli Case 1450 - Does the job perfect for me. 40cm wide, 30cm long.
Just big enough to keep things stored, but not O.T.T (in my opinion)
This is where I keep all my 'stuff' - but im no hoarder to be honest.

I have a Peli Case 1200, which is smaller, roughly the size of a laptop, which carries 2 Vapes (1mech and 1 VV/VW) with 2 juices and 1 spare RDA & 1 spare RBA.
Its the one I take out and about if needed.

They aren't the cheapest things going (the 1450 cost around £60) but in my opinion, for me, theyre perfect.
A plus note is that they're also airtight - so no smells from Juices etc.

Check the electronic section at walmart. Various shape and sizes of camera bags and inexpensive. Most have a few to several inside compartments to stow away either your mods, batteries, toppers, juice bottles, coils, etc.
another place would be harborfreight. A good selection of different sized tool boxes and cases with foam cut outs for your gear.
Hope this helps:toast:

When I get home, I'll show you what I'm using right now. I travel for work, so this is mostly to keep myself organized when I travel for work. I don't unpack it when I get home. There would be no point to that. It is a camouflage tackle box. It has four plastic containers inside with dividers that I can make my compartments any size I choose. It has a front pocket all along the front, with a smaller pocket in the front. Each side has a zipper compartment with a web pocket on the outside. There is a huge web pocket along the back side of the bag.

I keep all my juices in the main box, along with toppers. I also have my chargers, coils, and assorted other goodies that I carry with me,. I LOVE that bag. I just have a bad feeling I'm going to outgrow it.

I keep my vape stuff in a Caboodle that I got at a thrift store for three bucks. It's a hard plastic case designed for keeping makeup in, and the one I have is one intended for a professional artist who travels, so it has more storage space and opens all the way up on either side. The taller compartments (intended for storing nail polish upright) are great for juice bottles. This one is similar: http://www.amazon.com/Caboodles-Tre...352076&sr=8-10&keywords=caboodles+makeup+case

Yes, it's slightly girl-looking, but when it's closed it looks pretty much like an equipment case, and if you look around you can find similar ones that are plain black or even stainless colored.

I have a small pelican case and a couple of layers of foam I picked up at a fry's electronics. I carry my vape gear out to work on a helicopter and nothing has leaked or broke yet.

Take a look at harbor freight tools... they have every kind of case and toolbox you can imagine at great prices.

I like to go to flea markets and garage sales. I pick up gps cases, gameboy cases, camera cases... i probably have 20 little padded cases in my closet that I dont use... but i never spend more that 2 dollars on a case and I have plenty if I need one.

Thanks for all the replays!
So far I think something like my original idea is where I'm leaning... Though that cabootle would probably be a better fit, it's also 3x the price.
I'm going to look for a harbor freight in my area and see what I can find!
Cowboy: nope, that's a bit too small and restrictive. I want something I can just throw tools in and close, too lazy to deal with elastic straps :) maybe it would make sense if I had more than 3 mods, but I don't...
