Vape like a "dragon"?

I'm still new to the site but not new to vaping I've seen countless youtube videos of people vaping in the sickest way; people are exhaling through their nose while inhaling the vapor. HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO THAT??? Whenever I try I always seem to be blowing back into my RDA/RBAs! I tried on my kayfun and vapor came out of the bottom right where my Nemesis's top cap is. Is there a specific way of being a total bad@ss to do this technique?????

when im doing it, im just breathing through my nose.

kinda like when your drinking from a straw and still breathe.. you can suck and fill your mouth with vapor while still exhaling.

or i may just be odd.

Pretty much what he said. Or I you can push the vapor threw your nasal cavity and exhale threw your nose if I want to do it without inhaling. Weird trick lol

Lol thought I was the only one. I see pbusardo do that all the time. Guess I'm not coordinated enough to exhale out my nose while drawing into my mouth. I have wait to exhale out my nose

Just gotta use your tounge and jaw to suck in the vapor and not your lungs and it's pretty simple

^^ What he said. You're not really "inhaling", you're filling your mouth with vapor, sucking it in when it's at its limit, then exhaling through your nose as you fill your mouth once again.

Just imagine drinking through a straw, it's very similar, except inhaling lemonade is very painful from what I recall.

My wife does this "french inhale" thing that I think is gross. In her mouth then back outside and up through her nose and back down her windpipe. I suppose this was ok for cigs but with the vape it makes me imagine all she is doing is tasting the inside of her nose yuck LOL

I never smoked cigarettes like that it always ruined the taste for me. French inhales are fun lol

Many horn players (among other musicians, such as didgeridoo players) are able to inhale into their lungs through their noses while expelling air from their cheeks through their lips. This is known as "circular breathing" and requires lots of practice (Kenny G joked that it took him "only 20 years or so" to learn).

What you're describing is very similar, it's just going in the opposite direction: drawing vapor into the cheeks while expelling vapor from the lungs and/or throat through the nose.

Often, a vaping device will require a short "priming" draw before delivering a full bodied hit. This is why you see some vapers using the "dragon" technique you are trying for (why waste that first puff before inhaling?). It will take some practice, but take your first draw on the device, pause, and without opening your mouth or blowing out, do your regular inhale of the vapor in your mouth. Immediately take a second draw and inhale normally--by that time your should notice vapor coming from your nose--then do your regular exhale. I suggest you start with short draws and work up from there. Believe me, it is very satisfying. I'd say most men had already perfected this technique with analogs, women not so much..

Just draw through your mouth and breathe through your nose. Kinda like when you are swimming. Exhaling through the nose gives you the best experience of the flavour because our tongues can only taste sweet, sour, salty but our noses can enjoy fragrances.

I'll tell you the secret: First in order to fully charge the atty you need to hold the button down for a full second, then when you "pull" on it you don't pull at all, or hardly at all. just give the slightest bit of suction and let it just kind of roll in to your mouth, slow pull is key here, because as you suck you can only get so as much vapor as the atomizer is making, the rest is just air you are pulling in. Then after 3-4 seconds (or longer) you inhale into your lungs shallowly (or if you are hardcore, deeply, I guess, but that will give you a pretty crazy throat hit), then Puff the magic dragon - you are a pro!

Also, and I don't have personal experience, just what everybody else says - higher VG (vegetable glycerine) concentrations give a more dense cloud of smoke.

I do that sometimes for fun, but it's true - it tastes sick and leaves a burning taste/smell in your nose. Not satisfying at all, but it looks cool...

what are you people contortionists? there's no way a regular human can do two things at once like exhale while inhaling or vice versa!


thats like asking me to walk, chew bubble gum, and recite the magna carta in swahili all at the same time. i'll end up insulting an indigenous tribe and be forced to stand on top of a pole through the cold season as an offering to their spirits.


the simple explanation is that the dragon breathing people are evolved super humans that dabble in dark magics. thats way more logical than other theories posted here

Thanks for all the answers guys! As moedog said, I do prime my hits and I kinda see vape coming out of my nose. But it only works for a split second. I see people just inhaling and having vape come out as if theyre completely filled with vape and it needs somewhere to go LOLOL anyway, I'll try some of these methods and let you fellas know how it works out
