My Vamo arrived this afternoon. Since the Vamo was what, 50 bucks or so, I wasn't expecting superb quality. Mainly a back up to my ProVari and my little ego's. Plus I kinda wanted to see what this whole VW thing was all about. I got it in the "black chrome" or "gun metal" finish since I don't like bright or shiny things.I even have a drip tip I bought a while ago that matches the finish
I have to say that it gets the job done. The build quality is nothing compared to the ProVari, I feel like if I drop it some serious damage will be done, but.. it was 50 bucks. So far it has been a pleasant vape, VW has been treating me pretty well. I have noticed that the Ohm meter isn't as accurate as the ProVari, but... it was 50 bucks. It gets pretty close to an accurate reading though. When I shake it in my hand I can hear some stuff rattling but nothing to detrimental I hope. The battery threads are kind of squeaky aren't as smooth and buttery as a ProVari or some of the other mods out there... but it was 50 bucks (nothing a little rem oil can't fix). The recessed juice well is pretty nice for fitting Ego style tanks and accessories on. One more thing, once you take your finger of the button it still fires for just a half a second, not a big deal though. Not the first mod in the world to do that.
If I am going out an about and need a reliable mod, I'm taking my ProVari. However if, the gods forbid, I lose my Provari or drop it in the toilet or something, I will have a Vamo until I can get my ProVari repaired or replaced. If your looking for a decent mod that has some cool options at a great price, the Vamo is a pretty good deal. If it was $75 or $100 I would be disappointed... but it was 50 bucks.

(mods is this okay?) There are some pics comparing the size to some other devices of mine, its a pretty big mod with an 18650 in it. Let me know if you want certain pictures of it and I can upload them. Just got a new phone and the camera is dooooope.
