Vape ordering Help

Hi, Im new to vaping. I was considering purchasing one recently but now I definitely have to acquire one. {MODERATED} I like tha action of smoking {MODERATED}, so feel this would be a good alternative. Anyways, I am considering ordering either the iTaste MVP or the eGo-C 1000mah. Both the sites I can order the eGo from (vapesupreme or vapor beast) have it as just the device. In the FAQs on vapesupreme it lists things that i would need (tank, driptip, cartomizer,etc). on the other hand it seems as if everything comes in box for the iTaste MVP.

Im leaning towards tha iTaste MVP, Is there any reason I should choose one over the other, and in the long run which will stand up to moderate to heavy use?

And also how much liquid would you recommend i purchase for 2 weeks worth of moderate to heavy use?

Hi Chris,
Whatever you get you are going to need a back up. You need something to use while one is charging, or if one fails. So I would say get the MVP - which has variable voltage, long lasting battery - and get a cheapie ego as a back up. The MVP will last longer before needing a charge than an ego - it has 2600 mah compared to the largest egos of 1100 to 1300 mah. Mah is milliamp hours. And the MVP is variable voltage - which means you can adjust the temperature of your vape to suit how you like it. What people call "hitting your sweet spot".

For e-liquid - I recommend purchasing several small bottles - 5-10 mls each of different flavours and even from two or more vendors. If you pick a vendor for juice do check back here for any coupon codes. If you get a bunch of different flavors you will find out what you like and what you don't without being stuck with a large bottle of juice that you hate. As for how much - it will really depend on how much you vape. 50 ml total should last a couple of weeks I would think.

I've never heard of vapesupreme but I order from Vapor Beast on a regular basis. They have absolutely stellar customer service including phone support.

I would agree with Kiwi that you should get the iTaste MVP over the eGo-C because its variable voltage option gives you the ability to easily adjusting the power to the level that gives you the vape you prefer. Some people like warmer vapes, some cooler and not all juices taste the best at the same power levels.

This video is for variable voltage Twists but the principle for the variable voltage is the same for the MVP.

Spending money used for other things is a great way to also kill the habit.
You will need a bunch of stuff to start. Here is a quick list to just give you ideas:

MVP - main mod
Batteries
Charger
Ego or two - backup [check fast tech]

Vivi nova, pro tank, - or other eLiquid delivery systems [at least 4]

Eliquid, - check MtBakeravapor & TheVaporRoom [.net]
.... Flavors, pick things you like. Maybe menthol [great start] fruits, candies, pine trees
[order at least 40ml to start, mixture of any size for difference flavor]
(Nic level, if not smoking cigarettes, don't go to high with the level, you might want to try a few different also)

Note: I use about 3-5ml of elquid a day

Hiya -the MVP has a built in battery so no extra batteries are needed for it. It is sold with a charging cable - and when fully charged can be used as a charger for things like mobile phones itself, as well as being a vapouriser. He will need an ego charger if buying an ego - those are not expensive though.

Hey there and welcome! I have a suggestion for a new option that you may have not considered yet. It is the Vamo and it is a very nice mod and for the money you really can't beat it. It can be a little pricier on some websites so you want to order it from FastTech.com, much much cheaper than most websites. Here is what you will need:

Panasonic CGR18650CH Batteries @ $9.98 (these are two batteries for nearly the price of one at competing website)

And then you will want to purchase your atomizer of choice. I went with the Kanger ProTank for my Vamo and purchased it at iVape.net. The tank is $14.25 after you use coupon code "NewRewards".

All in all the setup will cost you $69.77. The NiteCore charger will be the only charger you will need for mod Li-ion batteries such as the 18650. You can also use 18350 batteries, 2 stacked or remove a piece of the body and use 1 18350 battery for a smaller profile. The Vamo, after getting it and using it, is the perfect mod for a beginner and it's a very nice piece of hardware. It's variable voltage and variable wattage, has short-circuit protection, shows the resistance of the atomizer, and battery charge. It has a 2 button design to adjust voltage/wattage. It also just feels very solid and reliable when you hold it. I wish I got this mod first before anything else as the only other mods I plan on getting are the ProVari, Reo, or the V-Mod XL. I haven't used the iTaste but I am just suggesting an alternative. I can't say one is better than the other. The only real difference I have seen is the little features like puff counter and that it's 3.3v-5v where the Vamo is 3.0-6.0. Plus the Vamo batteries can easily be replaced. If you get the batteries from FastTech you get two so you will have more than enough battery power to last all day. I go 2-3 days on one battery alone. I would definitely say go with the iTaste or the Vamo over the eGo setup. eGo batteries are great to have kicking around but start out with a mod, you will be glad you did.

I have been vaping for about 4 months now, so I'm still fairly new. I did however jump in head first and love the community around vaping and all the help that I have gotten by asking questions. I have had an MVP for a couple of months now and love the durability and performance of it. I would say that I'm a fairly heavy vapor and this battery will last me about three days when fully charged. The other benefit besides it being VV, is that I can charge my phone when it goes dead and the power is out, like last weekend. I would recommend this device to anyone who is just getting started. It is an easy to use and solid device.
