How many watts are you using?

When it gets too hot, it is a good idea to turn the wattage down. The recommended wattage printed on the coil is just a generic guideline, and does not mean very much. Start low on the wattage and take a couple of puffs, and increase by around 5 watts and repeat until you get the vape you like. Everyone is different so doing that procedure is important.

So i have recently purchased a vape, I primed the coils really well but the smoke is still getting pretty hot, am I doing something wrong?

This is what I got:
Mod - SMOK G-PRIV 2 230W with TFV12 Prince Kit Luxe Edition W/O Batteries - Prism Gun Metal
Coil - SMOK TFV12 PRINCE Replacement Coil V12-T10
Battery's - Samsung 25R 2500mAh 20A
Juice - Grappleberry Ice 120ml 6ml Nic
First off if it's smoking something is seriously wrong. If you're talking about Vape getting hot you might want to try turning down the power and Vape lower.

Man if you are new to vaping that tank is going to burn you up! That needs pretty high wattage to get a good vape on it. When I started a few months ago 40 watts(one of your coils minimum)was so hot on my lungs I almost choked to death. If you have the different coils with that setup i would start out with the Q4(.4 Ohm) due the wattage it can use. Take it low and slow on that thing and good luck.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Hard to tell, may be a malfunction or not. Someone (visit a local B&M Vape Shop) who knows what their doing should check it out it might be simple.
