Ive been strictly vaping for over a month now and still having issues with taste on some ejuice even after steeping shaking etc, how long does this last?

Explain what you mean? "Issues with some ejuice", meaning you can't taste them or they taste strange? And do you mean other juices taste fine?

If it's just a few juices, are they all the same ratio, meaning all VG, all PG, high in one or the other? You could have sensitivity to PG or VG or a specific flavor or vendor if you can taste some juice but not others.

If you can't taste ANY flavor, you probably have vapors tongue

All my ratios are the same 65/35, by no or strange taste its either totally taste less or a perfumey, peppery taste it happens mostly with either tobaccos or coffee jucies, by others taste fine i mean the flavors actually palatable (i.e. apple tastes like apple ). Some will start with no taste after steeping and shaking etc, the flavor profile is described above , its a let down to me , i get all excited for a flavor and than it crashes on me lol

You're taste buds are changing. I started off with tobaccos and coffees too. I haven't vaped a coffee flavor in over a year cuz now I can't stand them. The peppery is usually a sign of too high nic. Sometimes this will steep out, sometimes not

And I feel ya on the let down. The descriptions and pic on the vendors' websites make a juice sound and look AMAZING, then you get it and like...meh. Steeping/shaking and some airing out will help. Some vendors need 2-3 MONTHS of steeping. Crazy.

What juices are you buying? I need strong, in your face flavor and I found Halo, The Plume Room and GoodLife are all reputable, good flavors. I mean, sure, not all their juices I like but have found some great ones with them. And they have sample packs to try.

Your taste buds go through radical changes for as long a year after the stinkies. Its not your mind, LOL. Its your mouth!
It can be enough to drive you crazy seeking a solution, but the best that can be done is drink lots of water, and enjoy the experience as best you can. I personally have always experienced an explosion of extra flavor/s once it subsides, so there is a big pay off by riding it out!

However, personally, after 6 months I`m no longer getting vape tongue, :?) Have`nt had it in about 2 months. So I`m suspecting that there is a cross over point between 6 month to a year where it no longer bothers the vaper. :?) :?) (Double big nose smiles)

i find in the morning the taste comes through best, and gradually less and less throughout the day.

i use prodomenately menthol, dunno if thats par for the course or what.

I seem to loose taste a bit during the afternoon then it comes back with a vengeance in the evening, but I find my taste for certain things changes through the day, I find the following suits my tastebuds and really kick at certain times of day

With coffee, grandmas cinnamon Danish,
Evenings, vanilla custards really kick for me
