Vape turning on

Hi Everyone I am Julie Domac and I couldn't get my new vape turned on. Then I realized there was a plastic stripe on the pod. Duh! You have to remove it
And it fires up.

Welcome to ECF, Julie. This happened 5 or so years ago but a friend of mine bought an eGo type of battery and she couldn't turn it on. Turns out she was doing the '5 button press' thing a little incorrectly. She was clicking the power button the correct # of times, but she was just waiting a bit too long between the presses!!

First non-cigalike vape I got back in 2014 was an Ego. Picked it up at a shady tobacco/head shop that had a small vape section. They actually came in boxes of two but the shop broke them up and sold them individually without packaging, which meant you didn't get a copy of the instructions. I had never heard of the 5 button press thing, had to take it back the next day to find out how to turn it on.
