Being relatively new to vaping (3 weeks) and never attended a bash... What is it like? What type of things are there to do? And assuming its a big party type event with lots of booze I'm pretty certain you could count me in. :0

lots of vendors selling things that don't have shipping costs, lots of juice to sample, lots of vapor to inhale.....last year I went to the Chicago bash, shopped for a while, sat down for a few minutes and discovered at the same table, one person who was from the same part of Michigan I was, one couple from Iowa who's daughter was going to the same college my daughter was, and two new acquaintances from Kansas City, Missouri.....

I've never been to one of the big ones like this before so it'll be new to me too. I've just been to little meets in bars and stuff but those are a ton of fun, and yes, I do get kinda drunk at those.
BTW DJ, I'm planning on having my third annual MI. Vaper's BBQ out here at my place in the Irish Hills in June too. I'm about an hour down US 12 from Ann Arbor (my wife works there). I have a son in law that brews incredible craft beer and I smoke a mean brisket (and ribs, and .... roast, and salmon, etc. , etc.).
I'll post when it gets closer.
I've become friends with a few Windy City Vapers and they are some pretty good folks. I expect to have a really good time.

Thats sounds like fun...mmmm beer! I'll shoot you a pm with my email...depending on your music tastes I can provide music - I dj on the side. I'm actually right up the road in saline... Our good friends have a lakehous out on lake Leeann so I come out that way quite a bit in the summers.

My taste in music? Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. That's both funny and a tough call. I got totally fed up with radio rock when I was a teenager in the 70s (yeah, I'm friggin' OLD!) and got into blues abd avant garde jazz. I was a fan of just about anything fringe. I also loved Iggy, The New York Dolls and Ramones before I had even ever heard the term "punk". Was into what I considered "real punk" for a while and then went through a Brit Pop phase. Was into Canadian type alternative for a few years and these days I don't even know what to label the music I like as. Honest? Real? I like anything that isn't forced. I think I've learned to recognize music that actually has some inspiration to it. Did you know that there's a bunch of intelligent underground hip hop out there? Who knew?? My son keeps me updated on that stuff. He's a producer and MC in Ypsi who cooks for a catering company to almost pay the bills.

Poker at VapeBash

Hey all, just wanted to let anyone who is going to VapeBash in Chicago this weekend that there will be plenty of poker going on.

On Friday night, there will be a Pot Limit Omaha cash game in the main room where all the vendors will be set up. This cash game will be with blinds of .25/.50, minimum buy in $20, no maximum buy in. Again, this is a cash game, not tournament style, so blinds are fixed and you can come and go as you please. The game should start around 10:00 PM.

On Saturday night, there will be a No Limit Texas Hold 'Em cash game. Same format as the PLO game, .25/.50, $20 minimum buy in, no maximum.
This game will not be held in the main room. That's because there will be a topless cocktail waitress. Boobs!

I'm not quite sure when this game will start. Strippers tend to be late.

Troy often requests songs during after-hours on Click, Bang! They are usually bands I have never heard of. Very very heavy stuff.

I asked Troy to make a super heavy playlist. He did not disappoint.

I'd list some of the artists, but there are few anyone would even recognize.

Most of these songs make Slayer feel like Hall & Oates. This is an absolutely brutal sonic assault of demonic proportions.
