Just spent the last 30 days traveling through multiple destinations in Europe. Rome, Naples, Florence, Paris, London. I vaped everywhere with absolutely NO problems. Train stations, metro, airports. Standing next to police officers, while talking with the security people at Windsor, inside and outside cafes and restaurants. Only strange part was that I did not see another person using an e-cig, but it seemed like everyone knew what they were.

Except for one really weird couple in an outdoor cafe in Paris. The guy and his wife both just kept staring at my wife and I as we vaped. They were not just weird due to the stares, but also in the weird stuff they were doing at the table. Anyway, no problems to report.

Went through airport security, immigration and customs in the U.S., Italy, France, England. In the U.S., Italy and France I was carrying with me all of our vapeing stuff...10 batteries, 80 carts in boxes, 4 bottles of juice, chargers, travel cases, etc. In every case the security people asked "are those electronic cigarettes?". When I answered "yes", no problem.

Openly vaped in Philadelphia, Pisa, Orly and Charles de Gaulle, no problems. Openly vaped on 3 different train lines. Stealth vaped on every plane.

All good to report

Sorry, haven't been back in a while. On the questions, I used to volunteer as an ESL teacher, online. I had students in over 65 countries. We have the ability to travel a lot for two reasons, 1) we are both retired from regular jobs and 2) we produce travel documentaries, so the video sales pay for the trips. On this last trip we were doing "b" roll footage for an update to our Rome video and for a new Paris video, as well as another video series on the "Art, Architecture and History of the Churches of Rome". On that last one we've been working on it for about 6 years now and hope to have it out by late 2012, it's a mini-series. Some of our stuff is shown on the History Channel and Discovery Channel and no, I don't advertise what we do on message boards.

A couple of my friends in Europe vape. I was over in Switzerland, Austria and Bavaria last June and didn't see anyone doing it, but like stated before everyone knew what it was,on Swiss and German trains you can't smoke on them, but can in bars in Austria and in Germany you can't smoke inside at all no sure about how vaping is viewed because it was the summer and drank in Bier gartens.
