Anyone else try this tank ? The MaxiMist

I can't find any info on it anywhere, but I received one with a recent shipment and being a NoN fan of tank systems... this one is actually quite pleasing to me with no leaks so far, and a decent 'taste' to them.

I know nothing about them, but sure like how their made 'e-go type' for a proper flush mount to my Twist, and at 4v it's hitting damn good while also looking good at the same time !!

I just may need to order a bunch.

It's just a v1 or v2 stardust with a different name. The product info says they're the newest version so the info must be old because there's a v3 now with long wicks. Be careful of hairline cracking developing near the base, which will lead to leaking. They even have it as a note on the product info page, but say it doesn't lead to leaking (it has in my experience though). Glad you found a tank you like :) I love carto tanks myself!

Ya, I've been reading up more on them, and watching some YT reviews. No doubt, they ARE a stardust look (along with many other names I see out there). Honestly, I'm a flip-flop vaper, so I probably would have a lesser taste appreciation to say whether it mutes it or not, but 'I' don't seem to think so. With the one I received (no idea which resistance), I find as long as I pulse burst it at 4v that I get good hits that taste good enough for me, but I only have the one and so far haven't tried other than my own blended factory juices with a dab of this & that ;)

Thks Chelly... I've had a long rough go with e-cigs, and have just submitted to being a harm reduction type after multi failures with my high 'stinkies' use, so after tying a tank when they first started coming out... I was quickly disappointed and ticked off at the unreliability along with the leaking so I never pursued further attempts (I also found the initial release CE2's quite disgusting myself and didn't feel like playing beta tester through the version game).

I'm pretty 'respectful' with electronics in general, so I find myself reasonable with how I 'handle' my stuff. Meaning, I never force my connections that I'd worry about cracking (unless it's caused by the heat, then I don't have much control over that should it happen).

It's still working good, and at the price of them with their claim of approximately 1-2 weeks usage... I can just consider it money well spent if I'm able to cut out at least one of my packs with them.

Have you found any muted taste on them at all? Like Aura i would have to say they look like the stardust, but again if they feel sturdier, and do not have muted taste, i think i might order a few to sit on top of the dragon totem ego's i just ordered :D

what the hell is a dragon totem , u should give that a rest ur gonna confuse all the newcomers

Oh, I wasn't aware that spelling mistakes made you an individual. Weird. Seems quite the opposite in my eyes.

Anyway, Smokum, these tanks are cracking from nothing other than use. Every one of the v1/v2s I had developed the harline/spiderweb cracking. They did this without being dropped and without using caustic juices. Apparently the v3 (long wicks) is more resistant to cracking though :)

Thanks for the double heads up four minutes apart, and also making sure the thread is now hijacked, a true amusement i am sure. Now seeing as i have seen it under other names such as: L-Rider, Lava tube, Lambo, Knight Rider, Nova Stick, and a few others (see there is this funny thing called google for searching, and thinking outside the box), and in talking to a few vendors (damn this ability to research huh?) there is no "set" name. But if at the end of the day you are going to feel better by continuing with what can appear as a childish temper tantrum then please by all means continue as it looks rather appealing to those on the outside of the forum to view it all.

I have always had the ability to think outside the box, to have a sense of humor, and i am still laughing even now

That is seriously odd, i have a Version 2 and Version 3 here and have been using for some time and nothing yet in the way of this.....ok, not nothing.....they are getting older now and a wee bit longer in the tooth

 i am back in fourth grade, i swear.....in order to have a true text temper tantrum (try saying that five times fast :D ) as you have so said, i do believe i have to be enraged to the point of talking in all caps n'est-ce pas? would my words not have to come off as sounding like i am going to pop a vein? or start the Chef Ramsey swear-a-thon (which seriously will not work, as the Australian and British swears i know, those from Oz and Uk will know around here). I am sitting here on my deck with a very yummy cold glass of ice tea (cherry Pepsi, or Vanilla Pepsi would be better, oh and some chocolate turtles too) enjoying my time watching the critters run around here :D

Uh oh! It seems Mr. Goofy has taken a turn for the serious!

This is good stuff.

Anyways, once again the cracking is an extremely common problem for v1/v2 so I just wanted to warn you Smokum. You're a good fella and I wouldn't want to see you buy a bunch and have them all leaking on you a short time later. The v3 is the same price or less than the ones from the website you listed, so maybe you should give those a try? Better wicking and little to no cracking :) I hope you find your perfect vape that will get you off the smellies but in the mean time you are totally right, any reduction is excellent!
