I think I can say this without angering the powers that be here on ECF. I am in an unusual position. Since I am both Vapenstein and a partner in the vendor want2vape, it creates an uncomfortable dilemma for ECF, and one in which they choose to adhere to the letter of their law.
No vendor may participate in conversation regarding their product outside of the supplier's forums. I am not allowed to participate there either, because ECF only allows one party from any vendor that is not a forum supplier to post regarding vendor business, and Donley is the heart and soul of want2vape. So I am not allowed to discuss our product here, and because of my involvement as a vendor, my website may not be linked on ECF.
I may not agree with ECF's position on this even if I do understand their motives, but at the end of the day they are the ones who get to determine what is in their community's best interest. I respect their decision and I value the community they have created, therefore I limit my activity on ECF to threads that lie within the realm of general
vaping discussion. I figure you're all smart enough to find my website if you're interested in my reviews, and I think the product speaks for itself.
It wasn't an easy detente that ECF and myself finally reached, but I hope that we can put those differences behind us once and for all and focus on the real issue, which is advancing
vaping as a healthier alternative to tobacco, and bringing
vaping knowledge to those who seek it. In that I would like to think that ECF and myself are partners.
