Ok, so I recently got a Vapeonly BCC. I really like the idea of bottom-coil tanks, but I just haven't had good luck with Kanger's lines. The BCC has gotten good reviews, and I needed a new green tank. So, it came in the mail pre-installed with a 2.2ohm head. Added some juice, waited 15 minutes - Burnt. Re-watched Phil Busardo's video on the tank, and thought that maybe the extra wicks were just keeping the juice from getting to the coil properly. Took apart the head, and the wicks are wet, coil looks fine. Switched out the head to a 2.5ohm, and removed the top wick. Waited TWO HOURS. Slightly flooded, but not bad - definitely still usable. But still burnt. vaping on a Vamo V2 at 6W. What could be wrong? I hate to switch out yet another head (last one), but is it possible there could be something wrong with the tank? Or the Vamo? Had the same issue with a couple of Vivi's recently, but everything else seems to be fine, so I don't THINK it's the Vamo. I'm planning on calling the vendor I got it from, but I just want to make sure I've done everything possible before then - Plus, there's a good chance they'll try to tell me it's user error, and that will only piss me off. This isn't my first day vaping! LOL!!! Thanks, ALL!!! :D

Dont take out the flavor wicks on these. You dont need to. They vape very well with most juices with all flavor wicks intact unlike the evods and protanks. I dont care what anyone says. Removing flavor wicks from BCC's almost always cause leaks. I just went back to the vapeonly after months of trying to deal with the evods and protanks and their inconsistent flavor, leaks, dry hits and machine oil taste. i now find the flavor of the vapeonly superior to the evods and protanks. Only time will tell about the built quality of the vapeonly. They seem more fragile than the pro tanks, but my belief is that if the juice melts a plastic tank, you should'nt be vaping it anyways. I came to the conclusion that i rather spend more in replacing a failing vapeonly tank and/or coil than dealing with mute, dry or nasty flavor from other BCC's.

What is your technique for vaping, long hard draws like from an analog, or do you puff puff puff it like a pipe or trying to get a 1/2 lit analog going?

Watch Phil Busardo's videos...he puff puff puff's em

I burned my first BCC tank...which is IDENTICAL to Vapeonly BCC (and the BCC Mega) tank, it came on a Totally Wicked Tornado RCS I burned the 2.4Ω coil just like you did with the log hard draw techinque...put another one in did the puff puff puff and magically it became a whole new beast!

What voltage are you running, what kind of juice?

FYI, once the burnt flavor starts that coil is done. You can either rebuild the head if you know how to or put a new one in. On mine I take off one or two wicks depending on the thickness of the e-liquid I'm using. I use high VG liquids and if I don't do this I can burn a head really fast. Finally a good trick I'm using to prevent leaking is adding a second silicone cap from another head onto the head I'm using by pushing the skirt of the top silicon cap over the bottom one making a thicker seal. With this thicker seal the whole atty assembly gets pushed more firmly against the base and it has stopped any kind of leaking for me.

As far a draws I use long soft draws, maybe 4 or 5 second draws. If I for some reason start to get a muted flavor on a hit I'll draw sharply on it a few times without firing to get some more liquid onto the wicks but I've rarely had to that if I remove the right amount of flavor wicks for the juice I'm running.

Yes I'm a noob but I've found with cleromizers don't blow tends to push any liquid straight in the battery, and one time I actually dislodged something and it leaked like all hell. Any time it tastes a little dry, (mainly while chain vapeing) just 1-2 sharp pulls without firing works awesome.

I love the Vapeonly BCC mini's but I wanted to comment that I've had issues with Vivi atomizer head replacements in recent months too. The change in performance has been so dramatic, I'd been wondering if Vision lessened the quality in some way, or if my (reputable) vendor sent me the cheaper generic version in error. Until the last batch I purchased a few months ago, I had zero issues with the Vivi atomizers and Vivi mini tanks were all I needed. However, every single one in the last large batch of replacement heads I received has been problematic with burnt taste and/or flooding/leaking. I tried them on several Vivi bases, old and new, with still no luck. So, I do believe the issue is with the Vivi heads and not your device.

This issue with the Vivi's is actually what prompted me to try the Vapeonly product. I have gotten a few dry hits with the Vapeonly BCC mini's, and this is something I'd never before experienced, but I'm definitely willing to put up that over other issues. Unfortunately, it seems there is no perfect way to vape. The Vapeonly product has been as close as I've gotten to perfect, for me personally. I also have to admit I like the sleek look of them and that wide flat drip tip is surprisingly nice to use.

Oh, I should add that I only use 100% VG. Normally this can be problematic because it's thickness doesn't wick all that well, but BCC's seem to be a good, new solution for that. Still, it's definitely possible your juice could be a factor for burning issues. Also, do you think you may have your device on too high a voltage for the juice you are using, hence the burning taste?
