Essentially, the cone will be part of the atty if everything goes the way I want it to. The idea is to make it easy to remove, refill, replace and maintain. As far as leaking goes, I doubt that will be a problem once everything is done; proper sealing prevents leaking ><

The kanthal I ordered from ebay: 0,16mm & 0,20mm
Edit: For the sake of being thorough and having more options, I also bought some nichrome wire from ebay as well: 36ga Nichrome
It's just a matter of waiting for shipping.. which sometimes takes 2 weeks, sometimes takes up to 30+ days.

Yeah, it's a bit of work up front, but then again, anything that is worth making usually is. I think this atty will perform quite well once I get it all done, so I'm willing to put in the effort to make it happen ^^

I should probably let you know that I thought the PV I have is an imitation eGo, but apparently it isn't. I will try to make a universal genisis atty to fit the eGo as well, and shouldn't have any problem doing so since I have some eGo parts arriving tomorrow.
to that i would say they are probably not many imitation eGo since many are rebranding them...i'm from KL area and this is my first post in ECF...i get my supplies from a COD guy in USJ area...very friendly and we focus more on eGo with CE2s...

Well, I was assuming it was because it looks like an eGo for the most part.. And the box it came in doesn't really have much info (no website address, etc) so I didn't bother researching it more until earlier ><
As it were, I really only bought this XPower 900C as a temp PV until my 510 mega arrives; but as it turns out, it's actually as good (some say better) than the eGo..
my story is very simple...i was using Smoker ....ing Haven which spent RM340 including the cartomizers and i still couldn't even slip off the analogs so i dug deeper and deeper into this e-cig thing...it turns out as you'd have guessed, there are 'standards' like the 510, 808, 901 and so on...from there i was looking for new cartridges, bumped into this video at youtube on the CE2s
next come a seller in lelong named wwyf selling the CE2s, met him at a mamak in USJ and after testing the eGo, i bought two sets instead one each for my gf and i, he has quite a collection of flavors and regular order intervals from Dekang, and some US liquids as well (don't know which brand)...then when i couldn't cope with lending a battery to my brother/plus charger available time issues, i searched for more and found a seller in sarawak who sells eGo/kGo at way cheaper (perhaps that's the imitation) but it was very identical so i just bought one for my brother as well(thus my theory that everything is just rebranded)...seller in sarawak does not have a lot of liquids, does not have CE2s/cartomizers...but he's gonna start bringing more Dekang and cartomizers...so next time, i'll buy CE2s from USJ guy and Sets from Sarawak guy...

i'm also looking into getting some people to pool in and buy CE2s at around RM4-5 but we have to buy at 100pcs at one time from e-liquid.cn also since we already have flavors we stick to, liquids can be bought cheaper as well...what say you? 1malaysia?

that Xpower I saw from Electronic Cigarette Wholesale,Smoore M401 Electronic Cigarettes ,Electronic Cigarette from best e-cigarette factory. i think it is also a rebranded eGo, or perhaps eGo is also a rebranded item, just like unilever company, they manufacture a lot of brands of shampoo and shower gels
Turns out the Xpower is actually different than the eGo.. The eGo uses 510 atty's/carto's, the Xpower uses M301. From what I read, the XPower was made to perform and taste better than the eGo, and most say that it does.
ic...even eGo type bodies have 2 connections, the ego/kgo has 501, the vgo has 901, perhaps yours is just like that? i avoided buying from onlyecig'dot'com because i didn't wanna buy from China on my first deal
eGo is just another basic model, most of the time they will just re brand it, factory term OEM...X-power is actually another e-cig basic model thus the different atty fitting....
As for your proposal to purchase CE2S in bulk, be sure to get some tester 1st, I heard alot of some unpleasant comments about it in this forum... carefull before u make that much commitment... but if its good I'm more then glad to join...post your proposal on the Malaysia forum, there's a few Malaysian there. They might be interested as well

yeah, ordering in bulk would be quite a hassle too i figured...i still run on the 2.7 to 3.0 ohm range, in the website i think you'd have to buy quite a few pieces to get all ohm range that would satisfy all who are pooling...i'll do more research on that and also check out the malaysian forum
