Yes.

There are some brands that produce larger amounts of vapor than others. That's definitely true.

And, yes. Certain atomizers different from model to model. And, sometimes, you'll get 3 atomizers, and two work well, and one nearly blows your head off. Things vary depending on your technique, as well. A consistent technique on your behalf will result in more consistent vapor.

Some atomizers take some time to "break in" while others seem to be rolling right out of the gate.

This is a very uneasy and unpredictable electronic component, and you never have 100% certainty when purchasing.

When it comes to which model of PV you want, that really depends on the size of device you want, and what features you require to be happy.

mmm, wondering this too.

I miss the loads of smoke affect and rolling it around my mouth / nose.

The one thing about e cigs is it just is not the same. Well with a 901 it isn't.

I noticed your other post about just using cartridges. That's probably why. Pre-filled cartridges tend to dry out much quicker that you would think given the lies some unscrupulous suppliers tell about how long they should last, or about how many cigarettes they are supposedly equivalent to.

You will find that when you use liquid and keep your cartridges nice and moist, or try dripping directly into your atomizer, the amount of vapor you get will be much greater.

You might want to try an 801 type e-cig. My first e-cig was a 901 and the vapor and throat hit was very minimal, sometimes I felt I was just sucking air (or sucking my lungs out trying to get a good hit!).

So I went searching for a better e-cig. I've had great results with the Rio (VaporNine.com) and the Vapor 1000 (VaporCig.com).

I purchased the USB pass-through with my Rio and an extra atomizer and absolutely love the combination. I bought a USB hub for the pass-through because I didn't want it connected to the computer. The USB hub connects to any wall outlet, so I can plug it in anywhere and don't have to be tied to my computer to use my pass-through.

Some people seem to have good results with the 901, but I didn't get the "fix" I needed with it. With the Rio I get good vapor with good throat hit consistently, especially with the USB pass-through. I think this is because the battery is fully charged 24/7.

You might want to give it a try. I'm very happy with it.
