I've been allergic to fruit since I was a wee little kid, BUT... the only fruit I've ever been able to eat without an allergic reaction has been bananas. So, one could consider me a... banana connoisseur. Now keep in mind this is my FIRST review, and I'm not going to say which one I liked more because, truth is... I liked them both. Vaperite and TastyVapor are two of the most coveted and purchased juice suppliers on the market. So, without further wait- my dual review!

Vaperite Banana Foster 70/30 26nic made on 11/10/10

Flavor: This is an extremely complex flavor in comparison to the TV juice. It's not in your face bananas. You get subtle hints of butter, banana liquor, a slight rum taste on exhale and barely distinguishable flavors of cinnamon/brown sugar. It inhales with a semi-sweet banana taste and exhales with a warm, complex combination of flavors. It definitely tastes as if you're smoking real banana foster. Now, keep in mind that this isn't a flavor I'd want to vape everyday. It's something you want to sit down and have with a cup of coffee and actually enjoy. Much too complex and flavorful to be a "on the fly vape".

Throat hit: Believe it or not... I barely (and I mean barely) get any throat hit from this. Granted, I smoked menthol analogs for 7 years, so that may be the reason why.

Tasty Vapor Banana Foster 80/20 24nic no sweetener added made on 11/30/10

Flavor: Keep in mine the Vaperite has been steeping for 22 days while the TV was made on the 30th. This may have an effect on the flavor. The TV version of banana foster is, well... a lot simpler in taste in comparison to the Vaperite... BUT, that by no means makes it less of a product. On inhale you get a HUGE sweet banana flavor hit, it's simply bananas galore. It's the closest thing I've come to actually eating a banana. On exhale you still get the huge banana hit but this time with slight hints of vanilla, caramel rum and a sort of milky taste. I can imagine the cinnamon coming to the surface with some aging. Now, remember how I said the Vaperite was more of a "every now and then" vape? Throw that out the door when it comes to the TV banana foster. This is definitely something I can see myself vaping every day. It's not too sweet, not to complex... just right for a daily smoke.

Throat hit: WHAM BAM can you say throat hit, Ma'am? This is liable to knock you off your chair and in to the other room. HUGE throat hit. As a prior menthol smoker I adore the throat hit. I cherish it. I have dreams about throat hits. TV delivers with a throat hit that is absolutely perfect. Not too harsh, not too light... just.. throat hit heaven.

That is a pretty spot on comparison to Vaperites BF vs others, it also shows the subjective side of vaping as I don't care one whit for throat hit (I don't mind it either its just not a factor in my preferences) and prefer to vaperite but I could see where someone who loves TH would prefer some of the other BF. I honestly think vaperite was made for VG lovers and VG lovers are use to mild Throat hits and tons of vapor and that whats Todd delivers (along with complex flavors that, like the op said, you have to sit down to enjoy all the nuance)

Good review thanks for a comparison.

big fan of the VR Bananas foster. It is 100%VG so TH will suffer... I care more about a full throat of vapor more than "hit."
I have had the TV also... they are just completely different in every way - TV is good in its own right... it's stronger and sharper...
the VR is thick and almost stringy...
