All 3 of my orders from these companies are coming in tomorrow.. this is the 2nd time i've ordered e-liquid and was disappointed I didn't even like the taste from one company just because it needed steeping time (BWB)..

If anyone knows from experience if any of these flavors I got need steep time or are good out the box, let me know please! ;D

KBV's juices are just great right off the bat and don't normally need steeping time and I think Vermillion Rivers need more time to steep, but perhaps your forgetting that flavors are highly subjective and specific to the individual user so what I think is awesome out of the mail you may find sucky until it's a month old?!
I thought most of the juices you're waiting on are great "as is".

I just received stuff from KVB with high hopes. Taste is subjective I will say. I'd say try a little right when you get it and then let steep. I'm about 5 days into mine. I ordered 15ml of the Hummingbird nectar, Special K and the OMG. My mistake was ordering extra flavoring @36mg nic. I wanted to cut them a bit to like 24mg and have more juice, but still can't get them to taste right. It could be the extra flavor or it could be that they are not my cup of tea. The reviews for these juices are steady though, and all praise them. Check youtube.

I expected the hummingbird to taste like a honey flower flavor. I regret getting the extra flavor because it tasted like a perfume soap. I'm using clear LR dual coil carts. It tasted pretty bad when I dripped into a 510 LR atty too. I cut it merely in half with just VG and made 30 ml. Still tastes like perfume to me. I will let them sit and then see how they are in a week or two.
I didn't get extra flavor in the special K and I really don't like it. It has a funny undertone of soap and something else I can't put my thumb on. Again, I will let these sit and see. They were all made 5/31/11.

The OMG smells great but just doesn't taste right. Again, I can't put my finger on it, but I ordered the extra flavor and cut it to 30ml and then added some caramel to one batch and its a little better, but not great.

I wanted to like it soooo much, but I just can't. I keep throwing out carts after vaping this stuff for a few hours.

The sample of RY4 they sent me was awesome though! I really wish companies would let everyone know about steeping or whether or not the juice will taste foul at extra flavor. Generally I think most people know that they can dilute their juices with a VG which is slightly sweet, yet I think some people think extra flavor will make it sweeter. I am guilty of that too.

PLEASE, let us know what you think of all of those flavors. I was just thinking of trying vaporite.

I believe that all vapers should try flavors at regular strength first, and then ask for extra if flavor is lacking. The way I see it, the mix masters know their juice best, and a lot of times, the flavor comes from your equipment.

I think you will find KBV to have great flavor right out of the mail box, but I also see some of their flavors getting even better with time. You will like the list of KBV you ordered. I have tried all of those and they are very good. My favorite by KBV so far is the new RY4, Rice Krispitiy Treat, and Butter Rum Pecan Ice cream. The Rice Krispity is great, but unbelieveable after steeping for a couple of weeks.

Vaperite and Vermilion River are excellent juices. Vaperite's benefit from sitting awhile. The samplers should be fine, I assume those are pre-made at a set nic. Vermilion River - I found those good right out of the gate, however I got Cafe Coffee and Florida Citrus Explosion. Rou's and V4L are excellent from Vaperite. KBV are not for me.

BWB cannot be compared to Vaperite or Vermilion River as it is a totally different taste.

Exactly right Godzilla!
I think it was a mistake to get extra flavoring simply because you think it will benefit the juice or whichever reason you had.
The KBV juices are all great right from the mailbox and though I haven't tried the Hummingbird Nectar I would've asked Bob what his opinion was about needing extra flavoring for any of the "joose". The OMG is one of their more popular flavors and like the Rice Krispity Treat only gets better with age! All of KBV's juices become more tasty with age and I have some well over 6 months old and they are some of my absolute favorites! If you don't like coffee type flavors you wouldn't like the OMG but it definitely doesn't need caramel imo It is already pretty delicious!
There is a dedicated thread right here in ECF for reviews of KBV joose.

All the responses in this thread seem to me informative and helpful to the OP.

I have a very simple approach: If I like a juice when it first arrives, I keep vaping it. If I don't like it, I stop vaping it.

If steeping improves a juice I like, so much the better. If a juice I didn't like improves with age (or my palate changes), that's great, too.

Either way, I'm the only person I have to please.
