I found out a couple of weeks ago that we had an actual vapor store in the metro Atlanta area. Though it is almost an hour away, I had to go check it out. I haven't been vaping that long (about 3-4 months) and there were some things I wanted to move into (clearomizers, bigger tank systems, ect). I've been using an ego-c with the type b tanks and wanted to move up a bit in the world. So, I got on the road and made the trek.
First, the store is awesome! Clean, friendly and everything is right there to touch. They have a "juice bar" for you to take a seat in a comfy couch and try out their juices. I did not take advantage of this as it just wasn't going to fit into my day. I met Todd the owner and let him know I was referred by one of my best friends who I turned on to vaping. He set me up with one of his employees (nice guy, I suck with names) who was awesome. He walked me through everything and was patient with me and my dumb questions. I left with a couple of DC tanks, tank skirts and some juice to try (white chocolate and raspberry, strawberry shortcake - both of which are delightful and a Japanese plum I haven't gotten into yet - all were pre-steeped). I got home, put my new toys together and was very happy.
Fast forward to today. I couldn't get the tank off the battery. I'm always very careful when threading things, I know not to crank down on them. I'm a pretty handy bird. That tank was not coming off that battery. After trying with great care to get it off I was starting to get highly annoyed. Then, the top of the battery popped of and would not go back on and stay. At this point I was livid...I was also determined to get the blasted thing off so I could figure out what was wrong. I tried pliers with a little rubber mat under them....nothing. I tried two sets of pliers....nothing. I applied everything I know about physics, inertia, bla...bla...bla...It wasn't coming off and I was .......
I called vaperite to let them know that the skirt I went home with had wrecked havoc on everything. Todd was amazing, he was polite and patient with someone who at this point really needed to have a drink. I will add, my backup battery was charging and just been put on the charger dead....my other battery was toast...I couldn't even get a little nicotine to soothe my nerves. He wanted to make it right. I can't think of another supplier that would offer to not just make it right, but overnight everything - including to replace the toasted battery that you didn't even get from them. I was astounded. I ended up driving up, mainly because I felt the need to show him I wasn't crazy...and prove to myself I wasn't. Todd went above and beyond making it right. This is huge to me! I know that they stand by their products and that my money is well spent there. I'm now happy with my tanks and new gear, and I'm very happy to say that Vaperite has a loyal customer. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. I also would highly recommend any new folks to them because they know what they are doing, they are patient to help you and they give you the reasons behind what they are suggesting for you. I also didn't feel like an idiot, which I have many times when talking to other vapers and suppliers. These guys are super rad!
