I'm going to try to make this quick cause I feel like I always end up writing novels in every post...
I started vaping about 9 days ago, I received my Vaperite tobacco sampler pack about 4 days ago and I think that was when I truly discovered what vaping could be. Subtle flavors, nuance and broad, warm TH. Wow.
Truthfully I spent all last week destroying my throat with the pre-filled cartos that came with my kit. I don't think they're awful cartos from the specific company, lots of people on ECF seem to enjoy them, but there is a definite artificial feeling to the flavor and the TH feels so sharp and severe. I was vaping a lot to try to stay away from analogs, but even when I had an analog (Parliament) the TH was about 1/10 as harsh as the pre-filled carts. My throat was in some real pain. Okay but anyhow--onto Vaperite.
I got (in order of my preference):
- Organic VR4 (sort of an RY4 but not fully, I've learned)
- APV (I learned this stands for Agave, Prune & Vanilla) Tobacco organic
- Perique
- RY4
- Organic Tobacco
- Honey Horn Virginia Tobacco
All were listed at 16mg (the only option for the sample pack) and 50/50 PG/VG
Truthfully. I think they're all really fantasic, and I've been switching between them a lot to suss out their different flavor notes and that, in itself, has been so much fun. They're all really complex, but really understated and natural tobacco flavors, even the VR4, which has a definite sweetness has a very warm true tobacco base.
I'll mention that all six have, what I consider to be very mellow TH, the Perique and the APV definitely have a bit more kick than the other 4 and I use them after meals or in the morning when my brain is really telling me it's time for an analog.
Anyhow, I'm writing a novel again. I just wanted to put this up here for new vapers--I now think that way more important than your first kit HAS to be trying out some decent juices. I know if I had kept ordering those pre-filled cartos and killing my throat that I would've went back to analogs just for some relief.
This week should bring me liquid packs from AVE, BWB, Vapor Station, Miss T's and a more powerful PV/atty/carto combo to try all these flavors again and I am truly truly excited.
Thank you ECF.
.....
Anyone know if I can just start boiling my pre-filled cartos that I got with my kit even though I haven't vaped on them at all and get the flavors out? I'll boil them 10 times in a row if needed and let them dry out for however long it takes--just don't want to waste the cartos.
