The movie Easy Rider and George Dubya have always made me want to avoid Texas. Although the people in this forum make up for it somewhat.

Texas is not a state for the weak or communists, that's why I love it here! I remember the last time I visited Kalifornia.... Everyone seemed like they were in a big hurry to get into a traffic jam and were probably the most self centered bunch of folks I have encountered. You really should visit Texas, you can waive to us and we wont think you are going to rob us!

Thanks, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. I just hope since it went out yesterday it makes it in by Saturday because if it doesn't and it comes in Monday. Being a pilot means I have to leave on Monday for work, so I would have to wait until next Thursday before I could try it, that would kill me....

Depends where you go in California. Some cities are vastly different simply by what district you are in.

I'm Fort Worth as well! Near the cultural district but trying to move just west of Arlington to be closer to work and to build an art studio. Born here, but have lived in FL, NY, NJ and SC and I'm SO happy to be back in Texas. Great state, friendly people. Although, I remember traffic being friendlier before I moved.
