I could very well be wrong here, but I get the feeling that us younger vapers are in a slight minority. This would be expected, as vaping serves as a great way for long-time smokers to quit. That said, vaping is increasingly becoming a hobby for many of us and switching to full-time vaping is something many of us younger ones are getting at.

So, I thought it would be cool to start a thread where we could introduce ourselves and share our stories! I guess I'll start!

My name is Luke, I'm 24 and live in Bristol, UK. I work full-time at the Apple Store (which interestingly enough for those who don't know, have a 'no electronic cigarette' policy in effect in all stores worldwide, which sucks) and dabble in TV extra work (I'm currently set for the upcoming series of Made in Chelsea if anyone watches). I started smoking at the age of 18, which is pretty late (you'd think I'd be smart enough to not start at that point!). I loved it, smoked 10-20 a day, and savoured my evening cigarettes out the window before bed. Nothing was going to get me to give up — at least, I thought.

Since discovering vaping around six months ago, I feel healthier, and love the hobby aspect of vaping. I spend a good amount of money on it, but I'm finding cheaper vendors and have started ordering a lot more liquid online in bulk to save money. I'm currently using a Vamo V5 with a Rocket (1.5ohm microcoil, cotton wick) and couldn't be happier. I know it's not the most complex setup, but I'm gonna be vaping this setup for the foreseeable future — it works treats for me.

I'm using about 4-5ml of liquid a day on my days off work, and around half that on days when I am working, which isn't too bad (the guy in my local B&M goes through 10-15ml a day, though I guess it is his job!). All I care about is the fact I'm off the cigarettes, and can enjoy a lovely vape on my sofa watching TV with nothing to worry about! I love it.

Now over to you guys!

I'm in my 20's and smoked since I was about 13 and it turned into a 2 pack a day habit when I started construction. Started having all sorts of symptoms so I switched to vaping early last year. Its officially a hobby now. I still vape nicotine but I love rebuilding new atomizers and the community so much that we started a Texas dedicated forum

hi, I'm 24, originally from Georgia, had my first ciggy at the tender age of 11 on a dare... Started regularly at 15 or whenever I could, which was often because my younger brother would steal packs of cigarettes from the druggies and drunks who bummed(I mean lived) in the motel in front of my mom's house. Hey, I didn't know he stole them till later on. He could, whenever he had the cash, go to the package store down the street and buy them cause the dang person behind the counter didn't card you if you looked old enough, I didn't.
