I am thinking of trying this brand myself.I only vape unflavored around 25 mg in a 50/50 solution. I want to find real clean quality Nicotine. What brands have you tried that you did not like?
I didn't like HiLiq, and NN smells exaclty the same (havent mixed with it yet because the smell turned me off).

So far so good on Xtreme, but does have a bit of a throat hit. Looking forward to trying the VT stuff which should be here Saturday (ordered Tues, so fast turnaround).

What I really need to do is get a testing kit and stop being lazy and mix up bases without flavorings to really test the taste/throat hit.

Xtreeme and VT are both good. Best I ever tried was Amerinic - Home but you will pay for it. You can get it here 100mg/ml AmeriNic Nicotine Solution . I have switched completely to Smooth Nicotine Salts To me its smoother than anything i have tried

I haven't tried salts yet, but curious to hear your opinion.

I don't care about throat hit too much, but like to feel that I'm inhaling something, if that makes sense? The only real turnoff to me is the whole faster delivery of the nic. Why? How? Not trying to introduce unnecessary dangers and don't know enough about them yet.

Thank you for the reply. You would be amazed at just how tasty unflavored is after vaping it for a couple of days i bet you would never go back to flavored.

I may actually do that. Not just to find out exactly what the nic tastes like, but man would that simplify things!

To be totally honest I cant tell that it is faster, just smoother. No harshness at all.

What about flavor? Is it basically undetectable? I'd love to know what the commercial guys use - that's what I want: smooth, very slight throat hit and no taste. I can't believe how hard that is to find!

It has no taste whatsoever to me. I would bet that you would truely be surprised if you knew what they really used.

I understand that different smokers/ex-smokers have different triggers that help vaping work for them. Some need throat hit. others want flavor. Still others need what I call chest hit. I fall into the last group.

When I smoked, I was a deep inhaler, taking the smoke deep into my lungs. When I first tried vaping more than seven years ago; it was with one of the early cig-alikes. It was a miserable experience. I couldn't get that dense "heavy" feeling down in my lungs that smoking gave me. Withing three weeks I was smoking again.

Nearly two years later, someone let me try a tank/VW mod combo, and I found success.

A year after that, I learned to DIY, and I never went back to commercial e-liquid again. Along my DIY journey, I have learned, that for me, that "chest feeling" had less to do with the nicotine, and more to do with higher VG ratios and vapor density (the right equipment helped too). So much so, that in the last few months (and after 5yrs. of vaping), I have actually had to start reducing my VG; because I no longer crave that much chest feeling.

I have no idea if this could be useful to you; but it might be something to consider. :)

Like you, I am not a fan of throat hit, but like feeling the inhale (chest hit?). I have been quite happy with Heartland Vape's basic nicotine. It is smooth, flavorless, and mixes well with any flavors for me. It is also some of the least expensive I have seen ($45/L). They also have a premium offering (called Ultra Premium; sourced from Chemnovatic)($83/L), which I have not tried; as I find their basic perfectly fine for my needs. They also offer NicSelect as a name brand choice (haven't tried this one either)($58/L).
Disclaimer:As always; YMMV. Order small quantities until you learn if it is right for you. :D

"Chest hit" is a great description. I started with MTL but have since become DL. With that switch, my preference changed to less throat hit and more "hit fullness," and you nailed it!

Thanks for the tips and advice!
