I am the first to say I'm always skeptical tampering with my merchandise mainly cause I'm on a tight budget atm lol but to the point been vaping with the pt2mini for 2 weeks and its not easy getting that great hit that you want even with vv out of the three air intake holes I got two drilled at 1/16 drill bit and my vaping has been a lot more pleasure able I recommend it for this tank

Yeah mine did to but when I wanted a good deep hit I had to inhale kinda hard now I can get the hits I like with out trying so hard btw off topic ur sig does it up date automatically or do u have to 're do ur bbc code ?

As I posted in another thread I drilled 6 holes on the base of mine. My MVP and SID both blocked the stock air holes nearly completely.

I rarely need a hit I cannot get off any of my devices. I have drilled out the Igo-l's and RSST but, FOR ME, I see no need on disposable gear.Well, that and you can increase air intake just installing PT1 heads.(larger center opening)
If I really want serious - Drippers/Ithaka's/Kayfun Tanks and my Favorite, Killer 705 in Carto Tanks.

hmm.. thats funny, I actually taped over one of my holes. It was kinda airy and I'd get a dry hit every now and then. With the slightly restricted airflow, I believe it allowed it to pull in my juice. At least thats my theory and I'm sticking to it. ;-)

As I posted in another thread I drilled 6 holes on the base of mine. My MVP and SID both blocked the stock air holes nearly completely.

I had to do the same. Drilled out the 3 to 1-16th and added 3 more. I still had a problem on my V2 and SVD when I screwed the tanks (3 out of 4 I had to modify one bad on one tank was perfect) all the way down where there was no thread wobble I couldn't get any air flow at all just like before the medications. So....I use an air flow controller just as a "thread saver" so to speak since I carry 4 pt2's with me in my nifty Nintendo 3DS vape case From Wallyworld for a outrageous $8 just an FYI and am always swapping flavors. I screw my tank down just to where the bottom of the coil makes it's contact and screw UP the air flow controller all the way right to the bottom of the tank to sturdy up the rig. Works like a dream! If I want a tighter draw, I simply back the flow controller off the tank and tighten the tank down toght against the airflow controller. With the PT's vent slots in the bottom of the base and the bigger holes drilled it seems to work perfect for me! So perfect my next paycheck I'm going to but 2 maybe even three more PT2's

The air flow controller advice? Idk if it would have worked without drilling the holes or not. But I will for sure try when I get a new tank before I start to drill. I noticed another difference to. The inside diameter of the base where the plug of the coil sticks through is actually smaller on three tanks than it is on the one that I have that worked straight out of the box. I'm a machinist for a living do I have the proper measuring devices to measure the holes accurately. The ones that I drilled the holes out and added three more were actually .01 (for those that don't know, the average persons piece of hair is .003 of an inch, just for size reference) of an inch smaller than the tank that worked perfect. So when the silicone plug got smushed when installing the tank it flared out and blocked all air flow from getting to the contact post/bottom of the coil. I checked/noticed this after I drilled the holes because my OCD of not giving up kicked it. But it could be a combo of both the position of holes and a smaller inside diameter.

I to have my air flow holes in my mini protank drilled out to 1/16.
I also rebuild micro coils in it with 30g kanthal to 1.2 ohm.
