Tracking said my Woodvil would be here today too, but it didn't happen. Oh well. Just a good reason to look forward to Monday!

I've been using my new REO Woodvil REO for 2 days now & love it, but I am having a problem - it has a rather heavy Tung oil type smell that is a little over-powering. Has anyone else noticed this & have any suggestions on how to get rid of it.

Many Woodvil owners have commented on the same and later volunteered that the aroma faded away after a few days.

Think of it as "that new mod smell."

Yep. Gone from mine after about 5 days.

I got mine Thursday and it is awsome. I run a 801 at 6 volts. The smell will fade! I just leave my door off when i go to bed.

The mailman came and went without a Woovil today, so I won't be snorting any tung oil until Monday. Looking forward to it!
