Hello Martha1014,
I find that I tend to get more of that 'ahhhh, I just had a real cigarette kind of feeling' when I am vaping the 36mg e liquids. I sometimes get a bit of a thick feeling in my throat from too many deep drags in a row on my Titan 510. But that also might be from the Totally Wicked's 36mg e liquid's as well? I tend to keep hitting the 510 and do not wait for the atty to even cool down before taking another hit all over again! So my advice to you is to "keep vaping at 36mg's because you may not get the same sensation of satisfaction in any milligram less than that. Also try to minimize the timing of the drags because this way you will not feel like your burning your throat out. If we didn't smoke cigarettes before taking up the e cigs, I would bet that 8 or 9 mg would be plenty. But as former smokers we want to feel that massive throat hit every time.
I all reality, I don't think its any more harmful vaping 36mg than vaping 24mg. Hope this helped you some? I also hoped that I made some sense with all these words. Good luck with all finding a happy medium,
Rob/Boston

Some people will soon tell you that you are a bad example and will soon OD and kill yourself (and your cat, getting into the high concentrated liquid).

hmm.

I vape 24, 36 and 48, depending on mood and amount, and as far as I can tell no problem whatsoever, and no matter what concentration anyone has to be careful with the liquid.

Only you know what works for you, anyone vaping is an adult making their own decision.

If it keeps you from analogs, more power to you (us :D)

Just my $0.02,

Chris

36 is my norm, I smoked two packs of pall malls a day. I have premixed 48 from myfreedomsmokes and use that if I really start craving a real cig. I have a bunch of 24 that I got when I first started the e-cig but I bought some unflavored 60 to bump it up now that I know what my body needs (thinks it needs). One day I would like to step down a bit, but I am in no rush, figured I bought myself a few more years by kicking the analog habit ;)

Who vapes 36mg or higher. Most of the time I vap 36 but there are times I feel I need more. I have some 45 I ordered premixed and I vape it sometimes. I have not have any side effects from this and at times it satisfies me.

I don't feel I am in any danger from this. Whatever it takes to keep me off of analogs.

Your not alone by any means martha. Nothing hardcore about regular use of 36mg or higher either. Very simply different needs of each individual.

Less than 36mg for me is a waste of time and liquid. 48mg from time to time to find calm from really trying times. The addition of snus to my daily regimen is what really did the trick to fully quench the smoking addiction!

And with that, there are a HUGE number of folks that maintain very well at nic levels of 18mg and lower!

Different circumstances, different needs.

I like 36 but usually vape 30 because I also like a little VG in the liquid. With 36 I vape noticably less then the thirty, any lower and I'll be loking for a smoke. I hate that 24 is now the norm for juices, it's like they want to keep smokers smoking. I recently saw a site that has 36mg VG based liquids and will be ordering from them in the future.

When I 'discovered' vaping, I knew that I found the tool which would allow me to quit smoking.

The initial novelty of vaping wore off quickly enough due to the requirement of the constant nature that vaping lower nic juices presented. I needed to use two 510s simultaneously because I couldn't wait the small amount of time it took for a solo one to cool down between the constant hitting on it. I used to actually 'cradle' each one next to the base of my icy-cold cocktails at night so that they would cool down even faster. It seemed that during the 'cocktail hour' I could get in front of even the two in tandem, heat-wise.

The difference between 18mg and 24mg nic juice was absolutely meaningless to me. I finally stumbled upon TW's 36mg juice  and went to a 6v mod and then even upped that combo with myfreedomsmokes 48mg menthol.:shock::shock:

I was finally able to achieve a nic buzz, vape 'occasionally,' 20-30 times a day, two or three hits each time, and get on with the other things I need to and would rather do during my waking hours.

For the first few weeks of this combo, I was going through 20ml per week or about 3ml per day. As time is going on, I'm vaping even less, now just over 10ml per week and am fairly confident that trend will continue because I just don't have the 'need' as often.

I realize that many people enjoy the process of vaping. I also think that the lower nic juices foster the need on a more constant basis and that some may have themselves 'fooled' that what is really a need for more nicotine is actually an enjoyable act of vaping (constantly).

As always, to-each-his-own and do whatever works for you. For me, cure my nic fits as quickly and infrequently as possible and I'm a 'happy non-smoker.'

I, on the other hand, don't care what strength you vape. I do 48 often and 36 is my norm, however, something is missing 8-o. It's prob the crap in real cigs, but it ain't the same as smoking. You need the mindset to quit smoking, period. Many do it cold turkey, patches, shots, hypnotism, whatever works ... but they want or need to. This is just an alternative to analogs, and a good one. I never felt like I was smoking, wearing the patch or chewing gum but now I have a good replacement, or substitute that will work for me. They didn't build Rome in a day so I'm O.K. (poetry). Don't swat urself if ur still smoking, like said above, you're saving some years ... it's a shame they're your (our) last ones.:(
