Vaping and Drinking....

I smoke a lot more cigs when I drink. So here's my question: How does a vape after a drink feel as compared to a cig after a drink? Are they comparable? Just curious.....my volt should be here friday or saturday, so I guess I'll find out soon enough....

I usually vape coffee or sweet flavors, but when I'm having a drink, only tobacco flavors will do... this works fine for me.

+1 on Natalia with tobacco flavors...I also like lots of vapor when having a beer so i use 50/50 PG/VG ratio.

Also, that is when vaping is the best for me...cold beer and warm vape

I always chain smoked when I drank, and I find I am even worse drinking and vaping... drink vape drink vape...

there is something about alcohol that clears the tastebuds...every juice tastes much sweeter...so I can only use a tobacco flavor...and they are much sweeter then normal.

Took a little getting used to but it works. +100 on the tobaco flavors vs fruit or desserts.

I prefer tobaco flavors to start, then usually finish with a cinnamon of some sort for a little spice later.... goes good with spiced rum and coke...

When I drink I would usually smoke just to keep my hands busy, flavor or nic effect weren't so important to me. Now I chain vape when I drink and my lungs feel 100 times better in the morning.

I don't drink alot anymore (it's amazing how morning catches up with you when you get older)........but I definitely prefer menthol when i'm drinking. Of course it has to be in a pre-filled carto, because I don't want to have to mess with stuff when i'm drinking. I just want to drink & be free.

It works but, again tobacco flavors preferably and not RY4, it is too sweet when drinking.

I like anything with a strong TH when drinking, but it's not like I get to drink much anymore. In a few weeks it is going to be interesting because I will be with another vaper when drinking. My brother will be home from Afghanistan for our family vacation outside Nashville. I can't wait for him to try some of my juices. I even got him a new rig. I bought him an old goat 3.7 bottom-feeder with some batts and a charger. Hopefully he will like it as much as I like mine.

+1 Mbradst it's more about a strong TH than taste to me when drinking. I find I have to up my nic level temporarily to keep from grabbing someone else's analog.

One of the toughest issues after I quit the analogs was drinking, especially in a social situation .. it was not just the possible craving for a real cig, it was also the fear that my manliness might be in question when folks spotted my PV ..

I'm happy to report that neither became a real problem .. just be prepared to discuss the PV ..

I still struggle a bit to find the right vape while drinking. I don't really feel the need for an analog, but it's tough to find the right vaping flavors.

I really don't like tobacco flavors, and they don't agree with me, so that's out. My usual favorites like caramel and butterscotch are too sweet while drinking. And what I'm drinking also makes a difference - wine, vodka, mixed drinks...they all require a different vape.

So, I've been sticking with mint flavors for vodka drinks and that's been ok, although not exactly right. I'm trying different fruit flavors with wine, but haven't yet found quite the right flavor.

My default has been flavors I can't really taste that much, so they don't compete with the drinks, but I still get the throat hit.

I've noticed I feel better the next day now that I vape instead of smoke, especially chain smoking at a bar. Must be less crap my body has to deal with the next day.

i have the problem that most of my friends smoke analogs so when i go out drinking its a alot harder to resist. also mostly i go to bars in west virginia where you can still smoke inside.... thats what sucks! but when im at home with a beer or a couple friends or they have to go outside to smoke it seems just as good.

I drink at home mostly, and we do not allow smoking indoors, so I send the smokers outside in the cold, whilst I vape inside...nice and warm. This helps reduce the temptation when drinking with buddies...

Here's a combination which definitely doesn't work for me: vaping root beer flavored eliquid while drinking real beer. Fegh!

I had a Little League board meeting last night (yes, we'll meet at a tavern sometimes) and inadvertently took a setup charged with root beer rather than the lime one I should have taken.

Normally, citrusy, tobacco-like or menthol flavored eliquids work best for me when drinking.
