I feel like the vapor sucks the moisture out of my mouth.. I find myself being a lot more thirsty after a heavy vape sesh.. and if I vape a lot before bed I'll wake up in the middle of the night with the driest mouth. Is this dehydrating me in anyway? or just simply zapping moisture out of my mouth? Also does anyone else get this?

You should be drinking twice the amount of water you normally do, I'm surprised you don't have headaches all the time ..........

Try just to breath for an hour through you mouth. You'll get it really dry without any vaping. Yes, vaping dehydrates tissues of your mouth, but mostly because you are breathing (when you are vaping) with your mouth. Drawing a lot of air through mouth (instead of nose) will dehydrate it efficiently.

P.S. Stories about overall dehydration due to vaping are just unfortunate exaggeration.

OMG ( and thats not 0 mg of nic) you fell into that "vaping dehydrates you" myth too??

yup VG and PG are somewhat hygroscopic ( adsorbs moisture) but at a maximum of 40% of its original volume on a good day

so, you vape 10ml of juice and it adsorbs 40% ... ummm 4 ml of moisture is now missing from your body... not even a teaspoon worth...
eating salty foods makes your mouth feel dry too, low humidity air will make your mouth feel dry... but dehydrate you? nope

H2O, Dihydrogen Monoxide, or simply DHMO.
Just remember, very large quantities of any of these substances can kill you :)
never thought of it before but its rusted hydrogen... no wonder why iron rusts so quick when it gets wet... the rust from the hydrogen gets on the iron :)

In my experience, dry mouth has more to do with flavorings than PG, VG and nic. Some flavorings more than others. More flavorings more than less flavorings.

If our e-liquids were as hygroscopic as legend has it, our bottles would never run dry.
You are right. I've been vaping without flavors for long time now, and I could feel the change when I put in som flavorings.

Using Biotene helps too!

I used this all the time when I smoked my pipes. I would always wake up with pipe-stank mouth and would be very dry. Using Biotene before I went to bed helped a lot with it. They also have a whole line of gum, spray, gel, toothpaste... but just remember that it is a temporary solution. Your body is still dehydrated, and relieving the dry-mouth will not hydrate you.
